yeah they are slow if you have a stock onei just bought one and i have a bunch of problems with the car!!! if you add in the after market stuff the then you have a car!!! (supercharge it)
I think you are gay and slow?the genesis is also,because the biggest engine is a 3.8 V6.why not just put in the 4.6?instead you have a gay sounding 4cyl turbo.3.8 base,4.6 opt. then maybe hyundai would get some respect.

I undersatand that the iro block on the four is more suitable for boost,but I could care less.I am running a ngm( built stock block) in my sonata,and I am only running 8 psi witha 9-1 comp. Runs fine for the street.oH,IT IS S/C ,NOT TURBO.
I heard that the Tib is a pain in the ass to supercharge too. One guy said he spent six months trying to get his car's computer to adjust to the super charger. He could have been just an idiot though.
The sniper is relatively easy to do,I put a stage 0 on my sonata to enhance my performance a little,and was the best thing that ever happened to that car,and was only a two day project.That guy obviously did not know how to work on cars.
with a supercharger you are limited by the movement of your belts. But your HP gain will be instant. With a Turbocharger your HP will literally gain exponentially because it will go off of the backpressure of you exhaust ( youll gain more psi the more you rev)
damn to bad she sold it i want it to race her one day i have a turbo-charge 06-tiburon 2.0 216hp 240tq but i know it not up there to 300hp but i can get her on take off but she will get to the finish line before me.lol
She sold it like a year and a half ago, it made 310whp/280wtq at ~12psi, forged pistons and rods, stock compression and stock heads...the stock motor went bye bye after all the runs she did...was def a ton of fun while it lasted though.

about to buy an 03 tib gt 6 spd. plz give me some advice lol, my last car was a focus zx3, had about 190 whp with i.h.e.pulleys, and jackson racing s/c with base toon at 6-7 psi. I want to top that off with the tib, anyway I can with less than a 3k budget? thats the most I plan including installation. plz msg when you can, already sold my car and buying on monday!

If you get a stage 2 and up SC it comes with an ECU reflash which will fix the "computer"
Stage one tho is cheap and a different story
