the canal changes direction of flow with the tides, so there's a calm when the tides are changing and that's the best time to pass through the canal

@McCarthyVideos Yea rough water is fun for the first 2 minutes, then it just sucks. The camera did nothing for how rough it was either. It looks calm in the video, but it was no where close.

Open the throttle and trim up the motor a bit. Should be able to sit on top of it then!!! Cameras never show what it really is like though.

6 foot, hmmm looks more like 3-5. Thats what i was in about 3 weeks ago and we were 15 miles out.
