That's one of the nice things about about cabling from the roof vent, but only if you know what you're doing but....it's not always an option. In this case, knowing that it's plugged upstream, you should always cable the line downstream first to ensure it's clear all the way through. So when it finally does break loose, you're not standing in shit water. Drain cleaning 101.
