@matphp1 believe me mate. lockouts of all types and squat lockouts do wonders. open your mind and try them up. partial squat hasnt been a major exersice move for athelete for decades for nothing. They WORK.

I am a fellow Javelin thrower and I like the enthusiasm these guys have for the training. But as their trainer please appreciate that they are young and inexperienced, so work on good technique on the squats and cleans otherwise knee and back injury will be coming their way

This is a great vid, i love the intensity and the hard work.

Like everyone else, however, i have to say those squats arent safe. I have no problem with safety squats, they are great knee and lower back savers. There is no need to grab the cage, especially if you are going that heavy. If you fail, there goes ur hands. Also, grabbing the rack actually puts more pressure on ur lower back, something the safety squat is meant to reduce. And unless those are quarter squats, get some depth!!!
