  • NHỚ LIKE CHO CÁC VIDEO PHẬT GIÁO LÀ BẠN ĐÃ LÀM MỘT VIỆC TỐT

  • hello where can i download the mp3?

  • Modern style , but OK ;-) .

  • this is not the mantra of compassion , and there isnt a long version. its a 6 syllable mantra for the bodhisattva of compassion who is called Avalokiteshvara.

you tube is like life of brian, post anything and people believe it: follow the shoe, no follow the gourd.

    please read

    go to wikipedia

  • @posvibes But wikipedia is not to be the sole source of information as ANYONE can update it, including trolls.

  • @minahatake

i am aware that wikipedia can be updated by anyone , and i have not stated that it is the only source of reference , i just linked it as a good start, because wiki pedia is monitored and checked, which is more than i can say for youtube. wouldnt you agree ?.

Anyway for a little more information about " aum mani padme hum" you could always google mantra of compassion and see what it says there.

and the troll remark , says it all.

    have a lovely weekend :)

  • @posvibes This is a longer sanskrit mantra of the Bodisattva of compassion Avalokitesvara. Om mani peme hung/om mani padme hum is the six syllable Mantra of the same deity. So in a sence it is a longer form of the six syllable mantra. you will find both mantras in the text for the Nyung Nye practise. If there is a mistake in what I have said please let me know.

  • crap

  • I would like the words to this please

  • @vte o stop it with your war on two ways of peace you contradict yourself

  • i like this version.

  • Im in a club chanting..lol.

  • jajajja hummmm i feel compassion with this

  • It's a disco-themed of the Great Compassion Mantra!

  • Wow much,,, more compassion feel like still happy and time to time feel soft in freedom...,,,,

  • 欲引觀音注意力

    惟有電音才夠力 !

    這也算是台灣之光 !!

  • Amazing song ! My heart is dancing !

  • Vibrações Positivas !

    watch?v=8SyfG0IOKNo

  • @brunonozferaz obrigado

  • Yes, the style does make a difference, and this music is definitely unskillful and distracting from the intent of the mantra.

in short, it is a travesty.

  • @Purushadasa a true buddhist would not demean another sentient being by deriding their work.... such as your calling someone's video a 'travesty'. Therefore, my criticism of you and your criticism of another disqualify us both from being compassionate. I hope we both learn from it. Peace.

  • is this disco epileptico à la monkey du jungle? very nice, but I like it more slowly.

Vive der Buddhismus et das Anti-Epileptikum der Korruptologie et al.

  • this does'nt sound Indian Music to me. no tabla, no violin. it's just noise...

  • This mantra isn't strictly Indian, but yes, the background music detracts from the simplicity.

  • Can anybody add lyrics this mantra? phonetic would be the best, please !!!!

  • "...so hung up on method. It is intention that counts."

  • It is true. You could be playing satanic death metal, as long as you can focus your intent. The method is only to help one focus the intent.

  • I don't disagree.

I do, however, support the idea of removing noise from a personal view (i.e. this is my preference), because that is what feeds my subconscious (thus clouding my focus).

  • Also, it would be very hard to find (from personal experience) compassionate satanic death metal, when its focus is typically of destruction of an institution.

The issue that habarigani1000 brings up refers to his (and mine) inability to divert attention from the music to a specific focus. Why is it difficult? Because the music doesn't appear to translate into that focus (i.e. the dance beat doesn't seem loving, it seems sporadic or whatever interpretation someone wants to give it). I try. <3

  • I do agree with you. Just taking his point to the extreme. If you could focus compassion with death metal playing, well you probably wouldn't need anything playing to focus. Just feel the earth's compassion flow through your feet. You don't need music.

  • hitler had great intentions

  • In heaven there is much joy. Not tears.

  • stfu

  • thank you very mutch Thingyel

  • This makes me smile and wanna dance :D

  • lol

  • it carries an excellence in this one and Me Like !

  • exellent , i like :)

  • Brillant version , dance and meditate at the same time :-) very creative thank you , i will share this with many people

  • I love this, why should Om mane peme hum be always slow.

Compassion should be celebrated as a human virtue, life is rich and wonderful when everyone shows compassion for each other! Well done!

  • Tolerance...it's just different, that's all, tolerance

  • this is noise..... -.-; great for dancing to, not to encourage meditation..

  • dancing is meditation too :)

  • Oh come on, where are the true mantras intoned by tibetan monks?

  • Gregorian chant is very peaceful as well.

  • It has a different mood. And a mantra is not only a mere song or a simple pray.

  • the buddha rocks

  • RockS & Rolls!! :D

  • haha you are cute and funny :o)

  • catchy and inspiring

  • :-))) thx for shering this dharani, it's very nice

  • sounds like the beatles man!

  • Yes, I think it's a common mistake to confuse compassion with misery or sadness. Compassion is a happy, blissful, calm and beautiful mind. :)

  • @Sammicsno yes, but it is also empathy and understanding.

  • For an upbeat rythem, this actually song actually calms me down....

    blessed be.

  • this is the mantra of Avalokiteshwara or the Buddha of Compassion which is the longer version of the om mani padme hung mantra

  • here is the lyrics:

    namo ratnatryaye namah aryajnana sagar vairocana vyuharajaya tathagatayah arhate samyaksambuddhayah;

    namah sarva tathagatebhyah arhatebhyah samyaksambuddhebhyah;

    namah arya avaoliketshvaraya bodhisattvayah mahasattvayah mahakarunikakayah;

  • this vid... seeing the pictures of the gods smiling... makes me feel that gods are actually our friends!

  • rock version XD

  • amazing beautiful video speak to the heart of compassion

  • Now that's what I'm talkin' about.

Dancing devotion wellness within and all around.

  • Great and Perfect to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • First of all, the sanskrit has been completely bastardized in most of the tibetan chants. It is not hung, it is hum!! Please do go back to the real source of this mantra before you chant it blindly. Thank you.

  • true.

  • I love the whole video and the music. Keep up the good work.

  • it sounds cool and inspriational yeaaaaaaaaaaaay!

  • this song makes me lawl a little

  • i can not believe so many people find this music so close to the real mantra's nature.

i find it so sad...that's why i've never been involved in such discipline(religion) brain washing.

have care of yourselves, you're your own master

  • Though the music might not be in the orthodox tradition of the Tibetan Buddhist traditions, it is good. Religion when it takes the form of establishmentarianism is impure and dominative. However, if religion is practiced as a medicine then it is stripped of the rules and regimens and thus it takes a form so pure that it can be used as a tool to Reach the absolute.

    Om Mani Padme' Hum

  • so, it's in his medicine status that religion(or parts of its vision)become a slavery condition in one's own rules to Reach the absolute...here i see the paradox,

    anyway,no regrets.

see u in another life, brother!

  • i agree with you genius.

  • have compassion for tibet.

  • rippleeffectoflife*co*uk/ommanipadmehum.mp3

  • O.o

This is a little "pop" for my tastes. I prefer the melodic, acapella way of chanting mantras.

However, I will admit that this is pretty catchy. :P

  • very uplifting! it's great!!

  • Do the people better =D

  • how do i get this version of the music,i love it!

  • please, someone tell me the actual name/artist of this--I love it & would like to download it!

  • this the Great Compassion Mantra in sanskrit. Very nice! Thanks for sharing
