  • Interior looks realll clean man!! +1

  • freshly gay...

  • @bytmeh thanks man! :]

  • @runamoktoo *like*

  • Lol, Trollingyoutohell is a joke. I've seen 1993z32's in person and on the track doing better then cars with twice as much horsepower. Go troll a Honda video you F&F WANNABE.

  • LOL!!! Stupid Troll...... I got my own 1990 2+0 NA 5speed with major weight reduction still an ongoing project...... NA FTW!!!

  • @AAAnomalyyy Any media on it? Pics/Vids/Build thread? What all have you taken out of it? My goal for my project TT is to weigh in lighter than it was as a stock Slicktop, but be caged and TT. It's still going to be streetable, just taking out the whole HVAC system, Sparco full buckets, delete airbags, sound system, bunch of other little things.

  • @1993z32 Your goal isn't ever going to be reached child. because you need the TT part first, which requires money, and you'll have blown ALL your money on an engine swap so you'll have no money left for a real cage to be built. Wow sparco seats, bet those end up in the car before the TT swap.

  • @Trollingyoutohell I wasn't talking to you

  • @Trollingyoutohell and it's already caged

  • @1993z32 I don't care who you were talking to

and LOL YOU CAGED AN N/A POS THAT CAN'T EVEN BREAK THE CAGE REQUIREMENT TIME! HAHAHAHAHA you really are a retard.

  • @Trollingyoutohell the cage isn't for drag racing requirements, I don't like drag racing that much. It's for chassis stiffness and safety when I'm chasing down other cars on the track at 140mph

  • @1993z32 Your POS is never going to reach 140 oh and btw the drag thing was just a point. You have NO need for a "cage" (prolly not even a really built one) yet you say you ahve one. You will never chase down anything at 140 mph when chassis stiffness is important

  • @Trollingyoutohell Actually a healthy, somewhat modded twin turbo can reach close to 140 at WSIR (a few hours from where I live) and chassis stiffness is important even at 60mph, especially on decent street tires like the 275/35ZR18 NT05's that I have. Corner exits with 400rwhp can twist up a 22 year old chassis design pretty good, which is why it's caged

  • @1993z32 Yes a healthy modified TT 300ZX can reach 140 on a straight away, which you will never have, or be on. Because you are a faggot. Oh and btw those 275's are useless. You need no more than a 235 tire on your rear because guess what, you have no power, and you will never reach 400 rwhp. You have a stock N/A POS with fart cans

Deal with it kid. Then get a job that isn't delivering pizzas

  • @Trollingyoutohell You don't need bigger tires just for putting down more power, they are also useful for something called "cornering." Clearly you don't really have much knowledge about cars or racing, but I understand, there are a lot of people on here that don't.

  • @1993z32 And when you EVER reach a track or need to "corner" I'll give a shit, but wider tires don't do YOU any good kid. You drive a stock fart cannon'd 300ZX and pretend that one day your mommy will give you enough of an allowance to buy a TT motor swap

Never gonna happen. So funny how you fags always try to get everything you need for once your cars fast BEFORE it's fast. All the cheap shit. $400 for a cage, $100 for your autozone fartcans,

  • @Trollingyoutohell I've heard about enough of your ramblings about topics you're clearly not informed in. You are now blocked. Go troll someone else's videos from your moms basement

  • @AAAnomalyyy and it's still slow as fuck. Oh wow congrats you gutted your daily driver POS that makes less than 250 whp. Congrats on wasting your time and money on a POS that even a 13 year old can buy these days.

  • Wow you wasted a shit ton of money on suspension parts for your slow POS

  • @Trollingyoutohell I'm done fueling your troll fire, hit me up when you get some videos of your Corvette up.

  • @1993z32 you're still mad kid

go play with your little NA POS somewhere else, nobody at your highschool takes you seriously you wanna be street racer

  • Lol you put fart cannons on an N/A slow ass POS.

What's wrong with you are you retarded?

Why am I not surprised it's "slammed" (aka you chopped the springs like the retardo mexican you are

Enjoy having a slow cheap POS that's never going to be fast

  • @Trollingyoutohell dude get the fuck off my channel you little bitch. those are Stillen cans, one of the quietest aftermarket exhausts made for the Z32. And it is lowered on $2500 in coilovers and fully built suspension, which is what allows me to smoke people with high horsepower cars who "think" they can drive on the track. And not the drag strip where you would race if you had a car, tracks with turns. Don't forget to set your alarm clock tonight, the short bus arrives early.

  • @1993z32 Yea get mad you little faggot. Your stock POS Nissan is slow as dick. Get over it. It's still a fart cannon on your stock slow POS. "fully built suspension" lol you don't even know what a fully built suspension is. You don't smoke shit. You're lucky to keep up with a mustang from 1999. Wouldn't know when the short bus arrives, strange that you do though.....hmmm maybe you're familiar with its schedule?

Get a car that doesn't suck dick ass.

  • @Trollingyoutohell Your posts are all based on judgements, opinions, and lack of real knowledge. My Z has Powertrix (PT) FUCAS, PT RUCAS, PT Tension Rods,PT SS Coils (10k/8k rates), ST Anti-Sway Bars with PT End Links, and PT Strut tower braces is a fairly built setup actually, and I've built the suspension on about 10 different Z32's so I know what I'm talking about. If you think a properly built NA Z32 can't keep up with a 1999 Mustang on an autocross track, then you clearly don't have a clue.

  • ah i love n/as. you can have so much fun with them. my first Z i dove was n/a and it was a blast. i ended up with a TT tho, but may buy a n/a for a nice daily

  • @ThatLavishDrifta I've had my first NA for 5 years and I'm just beginning the TT swap on it (it's a Slicktop) I bought a full bolt-on BMW e30 325i for a DD, owned for about 6 months, and sold it to buy a 95% stock NA because I missed driving my Z :) She's slammed on 18x9.5's with full suspension now though. I think I'll always have an NA no matter how powerful my TT is when I finish

  • The 300zx's interior looks better than most cars today. Nissan doesn't disappoint

  • im sorry but all these people are crazy, you never shift an na to 7 grand.. 6300 tops cos right right when you shift you land in perfect torque.. for the na diff that is.. and 5 is perfect man, good feel of torque for having fun

  • @TheRobGeezy You actually make more torque when you rev it to 7000 because of the mechanical advantage of the lower gear. My buddy has an AshSpec ECU with the limiter at 7400, it's awesome.

  • @1993z32 i hear you man but in my car once i pass like 6400 the power just drops..

  • look at the beautiful interior from a 20 year old car

  • @z3r0115 Just the way I like it :D

  • @z3r0115 (: almost makes me cry.

I prefer the interior to a z32 over pretty much anything else.

  • 390whp TT

  • Comment removed

  • You shift early..

I always play by sound and I shift at about 7-7.5

  • @Zzyyzzxx7 Description....... this was when I first got the car. And what ECU do you have? Most of them limit the car to 7200

  • @1993z32 Shit.. I honestly can't remember it's name for the life of me.

My step dad and I put it in, and it limits at 9000. But he told me to shift at 7-7.5 cuz it's not safe to bring it all the way up all the time.

  • @Zzyyzzxx7 Dang that's crazy, I'd love to see a video of an NA hitting 9000, I've only seen one TT hit that. Is the engine built?

  • @1993z32 Ahhh.. AHHHHH

I had to give up my Z..

Remember I said I worked on it with my step dad? Him n my mom got divorced while I was on vacation and he decided to take it.

    ..... aaaAAAAHHHH

    T_T

  • @Zzyyzzxx7 My truck is way different when you shift. 1st gear is real short and then 4 and 5 are super long. The previous manual vehicle I drove all of the gears were pretty even accept the 1st gear which was shorter slightly.

  • @Needled247420 I have mine tuned so that they're just about even, and then 5th is a little longer

  • @Zzyyzzxx7 Yea I just got this Ford Ranger.

  • How good does that Jim Wolf chip do? For 600 dollars I have to drop on it. It's gotta be good. Is it worth it?

  • @GaiaOnline777

just replied to you on the other vid. you're pretty much looking at better throttle response and a few horsepower

  • @GaiaOnline777

so i dynoed with chip and with out chip... so chip works well with air intake not stock and it improves power way better.... so its worth the money.

  • has any body tired the ash chip i believe is cheaper but i dont know about the performance

  • it looked like an airplane about to take off !!!

  • thats a clean interior..! nice

  • in my 300zx the shifter doesnt go back to the middle when out of gear.. I think its just the spring is worn out.. but it sucks tryna hit third or 4th gear.. Ive been missing so much lol its depressing.. is there a way to fix it?? like just buy a spring to put on or what?

  • @sctflasher379

Does the shifter have any play while it's in gear? A common problem anywhere from 60,000 miles up is worn shifter bushings. Worn shifter bushings create play between the shifter and the linkage and can make it hard to find certain grears

  • @1993z32 no theres no play while in gear.. but in neutral, if u pull the shifter left or right, it doesnt go bak to the middle, it just stays there

  • ahh, so this is a NA car? It sounds great! Is there a drone in the car - a heavy bass rumbling sound in low rpms? I've got it badk with my Labrees pipe. Any chance your selling it? Sounds like you got another exhaust.

  • @dpmatsontube

Not much drone at all, already sold the exhaust though :(

  • Does this exhaust have resonators on it? What year was it made?... and is it a full exhaust or just the cat backs? Sounds great!

  • @dpmatsontube

    No resinators. Stillen headers - stock 2" midpipes - 2" hiflow cats - 2.5" stillen x-pipe - 2.5" stillen catback.

I've been trying to find a decent camera to get a video of my recently installed Specialty Z X-Pipe and HKS Carbon-Ti Hi-Power cat back

  • @dpmatsontube

Oh and they have been around FOREVER! This system was on the car for 10+ years. You can still pick up the headers and cat back for around $1500 at Z1 Motorsports

  • Nice ride my friend. Keep it going. Hopefully you get a video of your TT build soon!

  • oh very soon, I'm having the engine delivered to my house tomorrow so I can start the maint. on it!!! So Excited!! TTFTW

  • oh Watch out! Cant wait to see that puppy. I dont have tt, just a Turbo FC so i cant say ttftw. lol

  • haha RXFTW will do just fine. yeah I cant wait to own my first turbo car (and first fast car for the matter) you have any videos of your FC? What mods are on it?

  • oh no way. Turbo is very fun for me :D

Yea i have a few of me just messing around doing donut drifts but nothing much since it was sitting for a year. I just had to rebuilt by MAZDA so its breaking in. Its pretty much all factory just upgraded to later year engine components and AEM intake, hks ttimer, a few goodies.

  • you shift like me in my z lol. i'm blown my engine on my 91 tt, i'm planning on getting the a new motor the coming up year. i missed driving my z man.

  • sounds really good my friend, how much bhp roughly? have you tested it on the track yet? and what do you think of supras? =]

  • about 250bhp, runs a 9.7 1/8 mile. I mostly do autocross and road racing though. I think I like Z's more than Supras because they don't get the credit they deserve. Supras are a whole lot of hype (sp?) Maybe the 2JZ can make 1400rwhp and the VG30 can only make 1100rwhp but how many people are actually making those numbers? If you just want a mean street car the 300ZXTT has plenty of potential. People like to talk up 1000+HP supras but is it really a street car if you can't use the power?

  • damn you have a nice Z interior!!!

    fucking clean.

    i got my N/A z32 about a month ago.

added bucket seats and i feel like the interior needs a lil redoing.

i need a new exhaust system...

    love the sound.

  • thanks man! this video is pretty old but i've managed to keep the interior in pretty good shape for a daily driver.

  • Very nice bro. Sounds very nice!

  • thanks man :) be sure to check out some of my racing videos too!

  • its a temp cuz i just bought this z im puttin a borla exhaust on it not a crappy weak stillin the only thing they make good is body kits

  • but dude, then "all the bitches" wont love it anymore because every Borla I've heard on a Z sounds stock. And it's not "crappy," it's a full stainless flanged cat-back and ceramic-coated stainless headers. . And it's not "weak" because it makes as much or more power than any other cat-back out there.

  • that doesnt sound good at all my ebay exhaust sound much better on my 300zx much better the bitches love it lol

  • I feel bad for Zs with owners who can only afford worthless eBay parts...

  • sounds like crap

  • your shift knob is moving lol

  • yeah that was right before my shifter bushings went out

  • Beautiful Sound. I've got the SPZ Cat back and i get great sound out of that aswell.

  • 1: My car will never have NO2

    2: I want a turbo car

    3: There's no way a VH45DETT conversion could be cheaper than a VG30DETT conversion

4: The VG30 has plenty of power for what I want to do with it

  • define "everything," and message me a link if you can. I've seen motor and tranny for $1900 but you need more than that. I've also seen front clips for $2700. Yes it can be done for less than $5k but there are a few things that are recommended such as:

-60K maintenance kit on the motor ($500)

-99% of people install a Stage III ECU to run 13psi ($550)

-New motor mounts, aftermarket boost guage, spark plugs, new PCVs and hoses ($300)

That's $1350 worth of things that can save your motor.

  • hey I was told that holding the clutch down for to long you will waste it faster,is it true? I'm just wondering since in the vid your holding down the clutch donw for a while and waiting to turn right..idk to much about manual cars im just learning let me know thanks..clean interior man!!

  • I've heard that before, I'm not too worried about it. Some people say it's bad for the throwout bearing. My clutch has 113,000 miles on it and the only problem it has is slippage under extreme stress, which gets worse when the clutch gets very hot. RPS 6-Puck clutch and segmented flywheel coming soon :)

  • dam I was hoping they were wrong so then I wont have to be putting back to 1st gear in traffic lol yeah they told me that cuz I used to do the samething so I had it replaced and the mechanic told me that the clutch that I waste it was almost like new..it was my first stick shift car ok lol

  • hey when the car has a missfire in a cylinder, is that really bad does it mean the motor is F**? lol let me know

  • Is it a constant missfire or does it only happen sometimes? Sometimes its a simple fix but it can be very hard on the motor if you don't fix it. Also, what exactly did the mechanic say was wrong with your clutch? Was it a new clutch? It's possible that the clutch wasn't installed properly or not adjusted correctly.

  • nevermind with the missfire since im not buying the car anymore but still looking for a 300zx TT but they r expenive and hard to find. how much do u think I will have to pay to do a swap to an n/a z? thats wat your planin to do right? about the clutch he just said that the clutch was replaced not long ago but I must have been holding the clutch for to long lol it was my 1st month driving stick lol I really want a 300zx bad man :(

  • A good swap is gonna run $5000 to do it yourself, $8000+ for a shop to do it. That's basically stock but with ECU/boost contoller upgrade to run 13psi. It's easier to just buy a TT in the first place, it will take a while to find one and you might have to drive 100+ miles to pick it up but it will be worth it.

  • u could do a vh45de if u wanted

  • No way, I need to experience booooooost every day :)

  • ya but u would have hella lot of toque and also your front is gonna be 100 pounds lighter, also u can run tubos if u wanted on the vh also if u wanted to and also that engine is the same that they use in indy car racing, so that tells u how good this engine is i have a na 300z also but i might keep it all motor with a 100 shot of nos but i don't know yet but either way i'm going with the vh45 no doubt.

  • If all you want to do is race people on the freeway, forget buying an NA. It is however an awesome track car, 300+lbs lighter than a TT, shorter gears, and instant throttle response. I'm saving for a TT swap though. Just needs a little "boost" in power if you catch my drift

  • and check out my other video 300ZX Launch 0-80MPH to get a better idea on how fast it is

  • can you not turbo a na. if not how much is the tt swap

  • The NA motor has been turbo'd before... but it's very uncommon. Most people just sell their NA and buy a TT. A TT swap will cost no less than $5000 if you do it yourself and do it right. If you go to a shop you're looking at $8000-$9000 for a base swap. You can spend $25000+ on a swap if you have the money :)

  • why 5000. i looked on jdm and the package that had everything cost 1900. but thats without shipping.

  • yea man. i went to a shop and they said theyd do it for 3500 with a 6 year warrenty.

  • If it's 3500 for motor and labor than good luck... They might warranty it against blowing up but that doesn't mean it's gonna run right or be installed properly.

  • What exhaust did you put on that?

  • stillen headers, stillen cat-back

  • someone cheer me up

  • i will when i swap it, i promise

  • Quick question: I have a 1994 300zx Non-Turbo. Can I buy a twin turbo kit and install it? Or do I have to do the entire TT swap? I bought the car really cheap..well compared to the actual value..so I'd much rather install a twin turbo kit than to buy a TT. Thanks man.

  • You CAN twin turbo an NA motor, but it's usually not worth it. I've only heard of one Z that was converted and it made under 300RWHP. You would have to rebuild your motor with low comp. pistons when you convert it anyways and you'll still have the NA heads and valvetrain (NA heads are thinner and can't take as much heat. The best route is to just buy a Twin Turbo Z unless you REALLY like your NA. TT swaps generally cost at least $7500 to have it done but at least $5000 if you can do it yourself.

  • You can find a decent TT for $7k and it's gonna be just as powerfull. The only reason I'm stubborn and want to swap is because my Z is a Slicktop (no TT slicktops ever made) and because my Z is close to perfect condition inside and out

  • the only reason it blew was because the wrist pin went. the n/a wrist pin is much smaller than the tt's i think it could have gotten way more than 300rwhp if they did a lil more beefing up the bottom end.

  • heh don't be fooled. My TT swap cost me 15,000. I did do some modifications though. Bigger intercoolers, upgraded turbos, ECU, exhaust, but that only acounts for about 3000. I love the difference though. Had a car, got a rocket.

  • yeah as soon as you decide to go big turbo you can pretty much double the cost of the swap. I just bough a wrecked TT for $3500 and I still need another $3500 or so for parts and maint. and I'm staying stock turbo+injector.

  • i dont have worry about insurance cuz im going to turbo my n/a

  • even full coverage on an NA is expensive if you're young, but if you can afford at least $5000 on the TT swap (to do it yourself) than you probably aren't to worried about insurance cost

  • unless you dont get all the liability or whatever. When I had mine, 16 years old, with nothing but small coverage under my dads name, it was a TT, it wasn't too much. And then, some BITCH hit me and totaled it..

  • i want one! insurance shouldnt be too much on a NA or 2+2

  • yeah it's not bad for liability only, for full coverage plan on $250 a month. (i'm 20 with a 0 points driving record)

  • hey.. not sure where u guys are.. im in australia.. got a 2+2 89 NA :). targa i might add... Affording the Z can be the issue actually as not really getting one (depends what kinda car ur after, looks, mods, if its been cared for etc)..

Its looking after it mechanically that can be a pain at times... but insurance is affordable long as ur drivin history is ok i guess (its a bit more if you ahve an import model)

gorgeous sound it made :P hehe.. think mine might have a better sound :P hehe.

  • what went wrong with yours? I want the 2 seater, it looks cooler, but 2+2's are cool too, I just don't like how much longer it is. And I like cars bone stock, so I'm fine with that.

  • umm.. well before i got the car.. we went together (old owner and i) to get a presale check done.. he "SUPPOSEDLY" tightend up and fixed a few wiring things that were a bit odd.. however, in doing so he forgot, or loosened a coupling.. one day (about a month before i pain for the car.. my mate heard a (BANGPSSSHCCC *sizzle*).. and he cracked a head gasket and this random cable and another near it were hanging loose from the engine and radiator...so yeah.. reconditioned engine LOL.

  • lol, dam that must've sucked, did it cost a lot to fix that problem?

  • umm.. to fix it.. didnt try.. lol to much fiddle assing around.. spent 6000K on a new engine (afterwards realising i coulda got a TT ZX in about 3 months and done and engine swap LOL)

  • lol, Thats awesome, having a twin turbo, 300 hp. So you have the TT now?

  • nope.. ok..

general plan is keep ZX at about 200rwhp (not messing with it futher cause that costs too much for hte small results)..

Chuck a body kit, custom respray.. custom leather interior.. new EXhaust and FIX my sound system.. then.. buy a TT car.. and do an engine swap LOL .. already got one lined up (but this wont happen till about november NEXT year (givin my ZX doesnt blow up LOL).

  • that seems like a lot of work, and money to spend, lol. what happened to the sound system? I mean its a Bose sound system. Well, theres plenty of other places to buy a TT Z, so why wait till next november?

  • why waste all that money on the N/A when you could save your money and put it into the TT? That would be dumb to do all that to the N/A

  • no it wouldnt. TT's are not for the faint of heart. in many ways

  • God I want a Z. Affording the car isn't a problem, affording the insurance is. =\

  • Hehe my full coverage insurance is only $45 a month...I get huge discount b/c my dad has numerous policies with the insurance company.

  • It would be in the area of $4000/yr for me.

  • Holy GOD that's alot.

  • for me its bout $130/month lol

  • 89$ Canadian a month. JDM TT 2+2 '91. :P

  • JWT Ecu's on TT's are amazing. Stock HP is around 300...once the jwt ecu is added, its pushing upwards of 360!!!

  • Yeah, they don't do much on the NA's because there isn't any boost to increase :) I think the JWT ECU bumps the boost from 9.5 to 14psi. with intake, exhaust, DP's, etc you can reach 400HP. I drove a TT for the first time Saturday and well... I NEED BOOST!!

  • hey did you have to take the block out to put the headers on?

  • The headers were on the car when I bought it, but from what I hear it's a bitch to install them. The previous owner of the car paid $250 labor for installation.

  • Do those Jim Wolf chips do ANYTHING!? looked like a scam to me. I was thinking of putting one in my J30

  • It was on the car when I bought it, but I would say they are good for 10-12RWHP, plus they raise the rev limiter and remove the governor. My Z still ran too lean with the JWT ECU so I got an S-AFC II and wideband o2 setup to tune it, I picked up 5RWHP the first time I dyno'd but it was still too lean. I'll have to have it tested again soon.

  • Hey, 1993z32: I heard somewhere that the JWT ECU chip is really only beneficial on twin turbos, but I don't know first-hand. I have a non-turbo 2+2 and wanted to increase the WHP. Would it help on my car? Thanks in advance.

  • What mods do you have on youre 2+2? If you put the chip in you will probably not notice much if anything. The best part is the raised rev-limiter. There's not too much you can put on an NA engine that makes a huge defference since they are very high output from the factory. I have intake, headers, exhaust, ECU, and fuel controller and all that gave me about 35RWHP. My car is noticably faster in the high RPM range than the 2+2 I drove which only had a cat-back.

  • nice... but isn't it not good to keep your car in first gear when you are stopped?

  • I've never heard that before... It might be bad for your left leg if you have a race clutch :)

  • why if you have the clutch in the disk doesnt contact the flywheel? it dosent matter.

  • yeah if the clutch is in it doesn't matter what gear you're in. I do know it's not too good for your drivetrain to use first to slow down, but it's done on auto-X tracks with tight turns and I don't hear too many problems caused by that. I think it's okay as long as you don't shunt the drivetrain.

  • I've heard that it's not a good idea as well, but I'm not entirely sure why... Maybe something to do with the throw-out bearing? I could be wrong.

  • I was in a wreck around 3 months ago in mine. I am so sad watching this video, gives me flashbacks. Your interior is nice bu the way. I have, I'm working on it at the moment, 95 Z32 TT, I love it.

  • Yeah the interior still has the new car smell... it's imaculate :) I just bought a set of racing coilovers for it and I'll be getting the adjustable camber arms in a few weeks! I'm going to the Motorsport Z Show in April so I gotta finish the suspension before that!

  • hahahaha cool man i have one of that

  • Right now we have snow in Indiana, and I can't drive my turbo Z. I am stuck driving a crappy pontiac sunfire... makes me want to shoot myself. Thanks for the video makes me think of those summer days when I get to open her up on the freeway.

  • at least you have turbo to look foreward to :) Good job preserving your Z!

  • what kind of exhaust do you have

  • check the description.

  • Hey, Nice sounding car, How quick does your car do 0-62mph if you have tested it? also generally how well do you find the gearbox and engine work together? Cheers Mate.

  • I believe the 0-100kmh is around 6.5 or 7.0? Not the quickest but it romps on all the little ricers and most other NA V6's (mustangs, eclipses...) The Trans is very smooth and the shift throw is pretty short, although there are shortshifter kits for it. 2nd and 4th synchros aren't the best but you just have to work with it unless you can afford a 98+ spec tranny.

  • Nice Z. Am looking to get one, how much HP does an N/A have?

  • 222HP from the factory. It's plenty fast enough to blast the mountains and navigate traffic, but if you want the fastest car on the block you gotta go TT. The NA is perfect for a daily driver/weekend racer, it's really reliable. I'm building mine for autocross though :)

  • For the prices people charge for the TT, I would get the NA, then drop either a single or double setup in. Saves money in the long run. The prices people want are silly for the TT...$15 000 for a 1992 in OK condition...

  • $15,000 will get you a nice TT in the 80K-110K range, You can pick up an OK 92' for $9k. I personally wouldn't try to turbo an NA Z since you can't boost it much without low comp. pistons.

  • Hi, nice Z what is the car's top speed with the mods that you put in it???

I have a 2+2 NA also and want to do some mods, thanks...

  • I've never had a chance to test the top speed... It would be around 150-155 or so I believe. I has 200RWHP and my quickest time in the 1/8 is 9.84 @ 72.93mph

  • edit: 9.76@73.88

  • nice Z. but hey i just got a megan racing cat back for my first mod, what shall i go wit next? Im thinkin intake? what do u say?

  • Intake for sure, then maybe UD pulleys, a chip, and headers. Other than that go for suspension mods (including wheels/tires)

  • nice. if you like this you might like my z bridge run vid..

  • i have a question whats the first thing you upgraded i want to upgrade my z now but i dont know where to start??

  • Is it completely stock? If so, then you may want to try an intake (around $150) a cat-back exhaust (around $950) or underdrive pulleys ($450) for the engine. as far as suspension shocks and springs should be first. it all depends on your budget, and what you want your Z to do.

  • Thats very pricy... you can get drop in K&N filters for much less than 150$, UD Pulley is under 150$ for ASP, and exhaust can range from 550 and up. I just got HKS Exhaust for 570$ with shipping. Just a thought..

  • I guess I was referring to the full set of pulleys, not just the crank, and yes drop-in K&N filters are not too expensive, I was thinking of a complete intake that replaces the stock airboxes. Anyways, you should dyno your Z to make sure it's running right before modding it, I just found out mine runs a little lean at WOT, and my ignition timing was off!

  • i got my 300zx and dam what a car i love it !!! its so dam fun to drive its a red 1990 2 seater cloth interior its a beuty
