  • Great video showing how safety razor blades are made. Shaving has come a long way since the Caveman used flint, and we at Pace Shave know just how far. We offer exceptional shaving technology at an incredible price for retailers. To learn more about our offerings, visit our YouTube channel listed below. Thanks again for posting, this is a great video!

  • what a science and how cheap it comes just 15 cent for 5 pack lol not merkurr just laser like indian made brand although japan one is best although gillete one fusion etc is best without cut still de rules as it is cheapest and closest shave maker still today

  • an emo's favorite place XD lol

  • 3:15 warning, emo boy working at a razor blade factory

  • Firefly: All new, Sunday!

    .... I wish.

  • what did cavewomen shave with?

  • THAT much time SHAVING? F*CK THAT LET THE BEAR GROW!

  • Merkur 4 life.

  • You can buy a pack of 100 for 10$ 6 shaves each that's 600 Chavez almost two years

  • Use an electric shaver. Problem solved.

  • @voon100 I used to use an electric.. until I got a merkur safety razor, I'll never got back, apples and oranges.

  • They are only good for 6 shaves?? wow

  • @Shareallicu3

They cost 10 cents a piece.

  • @Shareallicu3 depends on what kind of stubble you have, teens would last longer

  • Do you have to be clean shaven to work in this factory?

  • So glad they got a new voice over guy for the uk version of how it's made, I don't think I could stand that guys voice for a whole episode.

  • i'm afraid to cut myself while watching this vid ... wtf?

  • @speedfaz :P i can't w8 to get one :P gona be so better to cut my self ^^<3 :D i can't wait :D so tired of these in norway... they bend by you just touch them.... wtf man

  • 3:17 emo kid gets discounts on his blades

  • can you scrap razor blades for money

  • I dont think if a caveman even exsisted, he would be stupid enough

  • "sharpened pieces of flint"

they didn't have the technology to do that in the stone age, and there is no point in trying to sharpen flint when you can get extremely sharp pieces just by breaking it off

  • @Slic3R1

so how would you call the process of sharpening a stone by chipping parts of? they didnt grind the stones, but they did sharpen them.

  • 0.54 sex

  • Fuck this, I'll prefer Firefly

  • Six shaves? The Merkur blades I use last for about twenty shaves. I change the blade maybe 3 or 4 times per year.

Safety Razors give a clean shave and the blades last longer and are much cheaper than the modern "hi tech" blades. I have a quality german Merkur razor and will never go back to my old Mach 3.

  • How did i get here :S

  • i would say: "Made in USA", but then I thought it's too high of quality, while not noticing a "Made in China" imprint

  • @GrizzlyRecoveryZone1 Made in Germany

  • @GrizzlyRecoveryZone1 These Croma ones are made by Feintechnik, In Germany, since about 1920?

  • @GrizzlyRecoveryZone1 Solingen, could be. A famous city in Germany, makes straight razors too!

  • @GrizzlyRecoveryZone1 It is "made in Germany"

  • No robot should EVER be allowed to wave razors that fast...

  • Sorry guys, I am a massive fan of the history and methods of shaving. But I highly doubt cavemen "Shaved" with obsidian razors. Perhaps cut matted up hair and used it for other cutting purposes, but shaving? Come on... lol....

  • @sescallier said flint not obsidian, obsidian is too sharp i think

  • Shaving animal hides with stone blades was very common and well documented.

It was just a matter of time until somebody tried to do the same thing with their face.

  • Apparently, Cavemen shaved their facial hair with sharpened flint... I smell bullshit...

  • @JackOfJudges There's a video of some guy actually doing it. Google "shaving obsidian" for the video.

  • @MetaTheorist that's cool, but where is the proof that "cavemen" shaved? Let me guess they have found ancient badger hair shaving brushes in caves. Is it theorised they used the reflection of water as a mirror?

  • @JackOfJudges Oh, there's no proof either way that it did or did not happen, but it certainly was very much possible, considering they had easy access to the tools to do so.
