Janikowski is a lot stronger than even this kick reveals. He changed his step approach a number of years ago to try and improve his accuracy. The majority of NFL kickers use a tiny jab going into a full two step approach. This provides a significant lunge on the second step to generate power. Janikowski's approach is only a half step leading to a full step. It is incredible he can still generate that much power.
