SO FAKE. I'm from this area. I assure you there certainly are many more people of color. There are also people who are (believe it or not) somewhat cultured and well raised. Sure we have hillbillies, but we're never how we're depicted on tv. Ridiculous.

I was going back to Kansas from St. Louis yesterday and just stopped in at this gas station on the side of the road not knowing it was the basis of a show.... Then I heard the convenience clerk talking about it going on at the I-70 diner place and I checked it out and this shit was real ha ha... I was amazed lol

If you're a missouri trucker chances are you won't even take your first stop til you are out of state. These people are just passing thru missouri. I love it. I've seen so much stuff up there I think it's right on the money

To all those who say these things are fake I'd challege you to go see for yourself. Hit up the bar on a weekend and just sit back and enjoy the show. These people are hilarious. It's a truck stop so you get breeds of all kinds. I think its amazing and captures MIdways atmosphere perfectly.

Actually, being from Missouri, I thought this show was pretty accurate. I live not even 30 miles from Columbia out in the woods and I thought this was accurate for those of us that live out here... XD This show sounds awesome.

There are two MIssouris. You either live in-town in St. Louis or Kansas City... or you live in the *other* Missouri. lol. there are about 5.98 million people in Missouri, and more than half live in STL or KC, and they probably would not identify missouri as an agricultural state. "agricultural state" sounds like Iowa or Nebraska. Anyway, I lived in Columbia for 2 years, and I'm glad I DID NOT see those kinds of people every day. Even Columbia has a city-country divide.

There are some people in Columbia that do like it. And do you know what kind of business and money this could possibly bring to our area? We are an agricultural state in the Midwest, whether you like it or not that is Missouri, they could do this show in any of our surrounding states and have the same kind of footage so we should be thankful that we are the ones benefiting from it.

This is pretty much a "reality" show. So, unless you believe that all other reality shows are aired un-cut, unedited, with no part staged, planned or scripted, then there's not a lot of credibility in the "this stuff hardly ever happens there" complaints. Take the show for what it's meant to be. If you hate the attention it brings, just remember that any increased traffic & sales generated by the truck stop from this series means increased tax revenue. You're welcome.

My husband Scotty had the original Tattoo Parlor at Mid-Way. We had a blast there! It's actually where I did my Tattoo Apprenticeship. I remember Joe, everyone at the bar. Jack and the girls. Winston and the boys playing. And of course, the C-store crew. Great Parties. Good times!! Sorry I moved so soon and missed the filming of this. Very cool.
