yeh they know when it's dinner time and come up to the edge to eat, but they tend to hybernate a bit more now that it's winter

We get gray ones in our pool, and before we put chlorine in, we scoop all the tadpoles we can up, and put them in a tank, and when they start getting big, we let em all go but two. We have six now.
