Oh God! I thought this was dreadful back then! And it is even worse now with its annoying lyrics and tune, yuck! One of many reasons I prefer to forget most of the 90s.
Bloody hell! She must be about the only female to get any kind of reaction out of Dale!? Great band, shame that Sony have copyrighted/deleted the HD quality someone was hankering after...Have to make do!
I think Louise wasn't particularly good looking, or talented by way of singing or playing her telecaster.. she did however have a certain charisma that could draw male attention and in so doing also attracted a female following of girls who wanted to be just like her. If you could bottle that type of je ne sai qua ck we would all either look like the weener or be her boyfriend.. :O
Sleeper could be as clever as the mighty 'Pulp'. What a shame they were never massive as they deserved. Idiots were too busy buying Take That records I suppose, the Cheesemongers
I bought this single on tape and it was packaged to look like a packet of cereal. One of the very best songs of the 90's. And what an absolute babe!!

Harsh.
One or two "t"s have gone missing that's true. But not the whole box like for Ms Allen...
I thought this band was the dog's, back in the day. Still pretty good now.

What a tune. Still love it, made me go on iTunes and buy their albums all over again.
Brilliant.

Louise Wener has such magnetism and attitude. Great time for female-fronted indie rock bands.
Dale Winton rattling 2 cans of pringles is a nice touch too.
