@mrmagicroundcircle they are pretty average,simple maths,few math puzzles and words etc,i cant really remember,it was 3 to 4 yrs since i sat it,if u had an education then u should pass,most dont,i thought i failed when 5 of us were told to stand to attention outside then we saw the rest a few hrs later headin for the bus in civil clothes,it aint too hard tho,mostly common sense and like every army in the world,what they are lookin is ppl who can make a decision,so make sure ya answer everything.

@skeasessj I don't think so,since Germans make up roughly a quarter and so do the French.Germans have contributed the most though.Your probably talking about after the fall of the wall.It's been 20 years,and I don't think that many are left.The Majority are now coming from previous Military backgrounds and middle-class.

yeah of course there are some brits in the ffl. however i think there is a bigger % of people from eastern european countries and africa. French also make up for a very large % in the legion.

@s0undActivist French make up a Quarter,whilst eastern europeans make up I think about 10-15%.Mostly Poles.

Asians are on the increase,but Germans and Brits make up the rest.

Actually, after every war you can find a lot of battle hardened soldiers in the Legion: after WW2: Germans, after Vietnam: Americans, after the Falklands: Brits, after the Yugoslav civil war: a lot of Croats, Serbs and Bosnians, then a lot of Russian who served in Chechnya and so on ...

@Lexot0n I read a book called something like "Englishmen serving in the FFL", and it's this autobiography type thing where this Brit details his experience serving in the Legion. Good book.
