  • somewhere out there is a chick warming up with you'r max

  • I don't understand people who use steroids and hgh and all that bullshit... I wouldn't be able to take myself seriously .....

  • I've seen a lot of these clips, even from other Westside lifters and she still seems to have the perfect form. It's a bit confusing at first, but this is a great template.

  • that looks very awkward for the knees.

  • @jamaq Looks like it, but it really is comfortable.

  • ok she is on steroids, who gives a fuck, she squats and deads more than all of you haters.

  • @uggy12345 Fucked up logic. Of course she squats a lot when she does drugs. You can say the same about someone doing heroin being more happy.

  • @Ragamuffyn Dude Im not advocating steroid use but even if you took all steroids in the world most likely you still won't be able to out squat her...

  • Pretty hot? The bitch is clearly wayy abusin them hgh and other steroidal substances, judging from her manly facial appearance

  • In their articles on how to box squat Dave Tate and Louie Simmons say the squatter should, while sitting on the box, quickly "relax and then contract" the hip flexors to explode up. How does one do that? I looked up online what the hip flexors are, but don't know how to explicitly control them.

  • @mcvalster

You don't necessarily need to do that fast, but the hip flexors are the muscles on the front of your legs that pull the knee 'up' towards your chest. If you watch them squat, you'll see them sit on the box--seem to move 'back' a little (this is what you're referencing), lean forward a bit and explode up. If you do what they're doing, you're doing what Tate's talking about.

In short, you're going to sit down, relax your legs a bit, and then 'jump' up.

  • @LastTrueChamp ew wtf

  • Very clear video, thank you! I have a weak right knee (partial ACL tear maybe?) and can probably only do box squats for now. Need to focus on the form. Form, form, form!
