There's so many great musicians out there. Emil's drumming is quite insane. Myself, I do not like to compare, and as others have said, just enjoying the music. Though, one thing I do like above all are those who invent and not copy.

In such regard I think hellhammer hs done quite alot. but that said, I have no favourites. just like what i like, as I guess, everyone else does as well!!

Someone's going to say I'm an asshole, but I'd say Frost is a faster and better drummer in general. Emil's good though. Who just may be better than both of them, the answer would be, George Kolias. But Frost may be just as good as Kolias.

Frost is a bit cleaner when you hear recordings, but I personally love Emil more because his style of playing is more appealing. I tend to use his fills when I play, mostly because i've listened to the "Those Beyond" album far too much haha, but there are some badass drum fills.

That said, I also borrow some from Frost, he has a good triplet feel when he does some fills which sound sexual.

Frost is fast. Never liked particularly of his fills and improvising. Maybe it's because of the satyricon's music in general, who knows.
