Elvis is the only entertainer to get great response for Gospel music in Las Vegas. I remember a story where some girls held up a sign at a show that said "Elvis is King." He is said to have said, "Jesus Christ is the King, I'm only an entertainer."

Thank you so much for posting this video. It's great to see Elvis' Jaycees speech in its entirety, rather than just excerpted. I've always loved the sincerity of this speech. "So every dream that I ever dreamed has come true a hundred times."
