  • reminds me of the a330 for some reason :)

  • Looks to be nigh uncrashable. \m/-_-\m/

  • Beautiful wings! Took my breath away.

  • Nice! Going to Keflavik this summer :) Probably with Icelandair. Love the 787 engines, they're so huge!!

  • is ANA a testing company?

  • @YoACC no boeing is testing this plane in ANA colors.

  • @YoACC ANA is an airline company from Japan, it stands for All Nippon Airways.

  • @YoACC ANA (All Nippon Airways) is the launching customer of the 787 Dreamliner, that's why

  • @Deltapilot96 Thought 787 wasn't shipped out yet to any customers due to testing

  • @YoACC Since ANA is the launching customer they have it painted in ANA colors but ANA don't have any 787's yet, that 787 is still property of Boeing Company

  • @YoACC its not, they r sending 787 to their costumers so they can test them and know hw it functions

  • @shamk9 um no deltapilot96 is correct... the companies can test the 787 with out flying it using simulators

  • @Insanegaming2010 noo bt wt about the ground handling and all that stuff, they took 787 to japan to see if their airports r ready for it and they also trained ground crew and all that stuff

  • There are no other wings like those in the world. Unmistakable.

  • Wow, although it's for testing purpose; talk about an exotic airlines/plane in KEF!

  • That does not look like a 787.. sorry looks more like a 767 to me..

  • @JehovahSaveUs Well...sorry then, but that is indeed the Boeing 787

  • @osallent .. Thank you for the correction. Unlike the Jerk Neno8403 who seems to live life being an asshole. Thank you for being polite ;)

  • @JehovahSaveUs No problem. and don't worry about confusing both. The 787 looks a lot like the 767 because the 787 was introduced as the replacement to the 767... but with composite body to increase fuel efficiency, more passenger comfort, newer engines, and a newer fly-by-wire system that is more advanced than the technology on the 767. Boeing is not trying to compete with the A380 because they believe it is too big, and indeed only a handful of airports can accommodate the A380.

  • @osallent .. TY for the clarification. Much appreciated ;)

  • @JehovahSaveUs Another faux aviation enthusiast. If you can't tell the glaring differences between a 767 and a 787 then you need not comment on anything aviation-related, again. This is indeed a 787.

  • @Neno8403 .. as for you.. You could have been a little more polite. I simply stated what it looked like to me. I never said it was a 767. So maybe try to help someone understand instead of being an asshole just because you can tell the difference in jets. And btw its the World wide web, if i ever choose to comment on anything I doubt I need your permission. Have a great day and life and try to be more humble.

  • thank you i enjoyed your video..

  • so ANA is lunching costumer?

  • wtf is the crosswind? o_O

  • @SumoSulsi wind that is blowing across ur path.

  • It's very interesting that ANAs aircraft is in Iceland.(I know the Boeing is testing). Usually not able to see that logo there. Hopefully they will fly directly to Iceland as I personally like it there.

  • We have plenty of crosswinds here in Seattle WA why would they fly them to Iceland for testing in crosswinds???

  • @rayfromabove Yeah but they are not looking for just any cross wind, we're talking about 30+knots direct cross winds.

  • @rayfromabove

Its called not being near a highly populated area when doing handling tests!

The pilots have their hands full with an aircraft with no fixed v-numbers - they are creating the numbers. You want plenty of margin in all directions including clearance from populated / built up areas!

  • what's that thing behind the tail of the plane?

  • @nfinnnn Looks to me like a little parachute

  • @nfinnnn That device is used only during the aircraft certification ant test campaign. It's a FTI (flight test instrument) and is used to get airspeed data and other information. This prototype is plenty of computers and then receive input data of several probes around the acft.

    Best Wishes!

  • beautiful video of the new 787 dreamliner!
