  • I looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove it!

  • How often do you use this ?

  • @mzaprilification. Hi! I would advise doing a deep treatment once a month. I don't use this concoction anymore, not because its not good, but because I make and use my Hass Avocado Deep Treatment. Thanks for watching my videos!

  • I went to tropical traditions and I can not find the coconut cream relaxer. I am trying to fnd it to use on my daughter. Can you help me find a store online that sells it. That you so much!

  • @cadbanks HI! Thanks for watching my video. Tropical Traditions does not sell the coconut cream relaxer, they sell two of the ingredients that you will need to make the concoction yourself. Watch "thatgirrl5" video to see the actual products that you need to purchase.

  • @FreeWorshipFreeWors Thank you...I took a look at her video and her daughter has the same grade of hair as my daughter. Would you still recommend this product?

  • @cadbanks Yes! Its a good deep treatment. I don't use it anymore, because I make and use my hass avocado deep treatment.

  • Please send me an e-mail with ingredients and steps to jaizeb@msn.com. Thank you. I want to make sure that I follow the correct steps. Peace

  • @jaizeb Hi! You can get this info on my website. Click on the resources link at ilovemyfrodotcom. ;0)

  • i would like to know if you email me the product...i have been natural for two years and i was and press my hair every two wks and i am wanting do the natural w/the twist and airfro. thank you in advance for the iformation. my email is tallteresa63@yahoo.com

  • @tallteresa63 Hi! You can get this info on my website. Click on the resources link at ilovemyfrodotcom. ;0)

  • Thank you for sharing.

  • Hi, I've seen the other vids but not the update. I am so happy it works for you. As of this writing, my own concoction for my daughter inspired me to go natural as well. I love this in my hair. I am 1 year and a half transitioning. God Bless!

  • Thanks for this video. Wondering I have chemically relaxed hair and would like to follow a more natural approach for my hair. So I'm wondering if I stop using the chemical relax and go straight to the natural coconut cream approach. I know I wont achieve the bone straight approach which Im fine with. Im just concerned about possible breakage of the chemical treat portion of my hair. Will this happen?

  • Thank you for explaining that it's not a relaxer !! I was confused!! :)

  • Correction: You're hair is "long & beautiful." Thank you for sharing sweetie.

  • Can you give me the products and steps for the relaxer process please

  • @cherylmgoode sure! just send me your email address.

  • Free u said you apply once a month, but do u wash ur hair again during thst month, meaning how many times a month u wash ur hair

  • @kimoni6 I wash my hair once or twice a month...but everyones scalp if different. This is an old video...so I don't make and use the product anymore (not saying it's not good because it's great) but I like and make my Hass Avocado Deep treatment.

  • i want to know about this product email me at gatesdaisy@hotmail.com or with what i need to use this please & thanks

  • @eyeofdday Hi! Sent you an an email. ;0)

  • Hi Harmony!!! Uniondale Stand Up! Im from uniondale too.. i left UHS back in 92" Luv the video!

  • so does this natural relaxer help shrinkage in your hair and give you a looser curl? please respond :/

  • @Dafabulousm0niqu3 If you have soft curly, coil, or wavy hair it will loosen your pattern and help with shrinkage. If you have coarse coil, curly or wavy hair this will loosen your pattern temporarily, as soon as you wash it out your hair will go back to its former state but it will be softer and easier to detangle.

  • Hi. I really enjoy watching your vids. They are very informative. Are you still applying this to your hair every month? Can you send me the ingredients and how you apply it please...pakjohnson@verizon.net. Love your hair!!!!!

  • @deimiyah Thanks! No not really...not because it's not good...but because I like to apply my Avocado Deep Treatment. I sent you an email.

  • Hello. I love the results you got with the cocnut cream relaxer and I want to know if you can send me the ingredients for the coconut cream relaxer and where I can get the products from. My email address is kenyalyles@ymail.com. Thank you so much.

  • Hello! I want to thank you so much for your videos and advice. I am transitioning to natural right now and did not have any idea what I would do to my hair. Also, can you send me the ingredients for the natural coconut creme relaxer. My email is cbrooks725@aim.com. Thank you again, you are beautiful and have inspired me to explore my natural beauty.

  • @CBlackhoney HI girl...sent you the email. Sorry for the delay! ;0)

  • I am glad you clarified this cause I was disappointed that you were "processing" your hair! I will try this on my daughter's hair and Goya is a cheap cheap cheap Coconut product like lard with a hint of coconut scent. I am ordering this product and using it once a month as a deep condition on my hair and on my 8 yr olds. Thanks.

  • Question

I have Kinky Curly Custard in my hair do I have to wash my hair first before using natuarl coconut cream relexer

  • gonna try it...thanks!

  • Hi. Did you change the name of your channel? I thought it was DayStarfuls? I tagged you in my video and I guess the name I give isn't right. If you want to, please do a video response to my video so they can come directly here. I'll send you a personal message so you can know which video i'm talking about.

  • Do you know if it is ok to use in my hair even if I only have about 3 inches of new growth and about 7 inches of traditional relaxer. I just need to relax the roots so that I can still flat iron my hair and the humidity do not take over. I am in the process of growing out my relaxer and have not had one in 6 months

  • Hi Harmony, I saw your video on your preferred detangling method (exclamation mark), does this product replace it? Do you still use the coconut creame relaxer?

  • @enewt81 ....my detangling method is not a product...it's just a way that I detangle my hair. I haven't treated my hair in a while because I've been so busy...but it's not because I don't like or have issues with the Natural Coconut Cream Relaxer. It still gets a thumbs up from me. However, I do prefer my Avocado Deep treatment so that's what I'll be using when I treat my hair again.

  • @FreeWorshipFreeWors: gotcha! is there a video on your avocado deep treatment? what is the product name?

    thanks again!

  • @enewt81 ...yes...I make it myself! ;0)

I'm going to do an updated video....this time with a HAND MIXER! ;0)

  • @FreeWorshipFreeWors - great! can't wait! when you get a chance can you email me the ingredients in the coconut cream relaxer, the tools needed to apply and how to apply?

    thanks!!

  • @enewt81 sure just email me your email address.

  • Hello Harmony! I love your hair and all of your videos. I just received my Tropical Traditions products. Would you please email me the information on exactly what to do to apply the "relaxer/deep conditioner" to my hair? I have been natural since 2/24/07 and am still learning how to care for my hair! Thank you!

  • @ebonyfrofro sure...just send me your email address. ;0)

  • Is it like co washing?

    Thanx for the video!

  • @Skye271 Thanks for watching my video. No this is not a co-wash...I usually shampoo once after rinsing it out.

  • do you have a dye in your hair?..........if so what is it? it looking really nice! is is a pernament hair dye?

  • Hi Choosen...Thanks! Yes I do. I use Dark and Lovely Red Hot Rhythm. :0)

  • I just bought the coconut cream concentrate & coconut oil and much to my luck, they have a good sale going on!!! I'm going to start using mostly natural products on my hair b/c I've been having a hard time with the pricey, man-made stuff lately. I also ordered some jojoba, grapeseed, rosemary, and peppermint oils along with shea butter to help my dry and thirsty hair. You preached about the need for moisture and I listened sista!! Much luv to you and thatgirrl5!!

  • Hi Carolina: Glad I could help...btw where did you get your peppermint oil?...I'm whipping my own Shea butter and would love to have the peppermint scent.

  • hi..how long does it take for your hair to tighten back to its normal pattern?

  • Hi Short....if your have really kinky or curly hair then as soon as you wash it out your hair will be at the same state...but you will find that your hair is softer and much easier to detangle.

  • If I have just coconut cream+coconut oil+ 1 yogourt, it can work ?

  • Hi Liz06...yes those are the ingredients.

  • because you said on your video that coconut cream and coconut cream concentraded are two different things

  • Hi Lii06: There is coconut milk, coconut cream, coconut oil and coconut cream concentrate. People have been using coconut milk...but if you use coconut oil, coconut cream and yogurt then you should be fine.

  • what kind of yogurt!!! Plain..

  • that website that u stated, is it the only place where we can get it? And what u r type of hair?

  • Hi Nick...as far as I know you can only get that brand on the website...but I'm sure you can get extra virgin coconut oil and coconut cream concentrate at other places...just do your research. I don't know what hair type I am.

  • Blessings to you Ms. Harmony, this is what I wanted to know the basic fact concerning the natural relaxer. Thanks and yes I agree your hair is beautiful. really...thanks and again Bless you Sista...

  • this sounds like a great idea im headed to the desert and im going to need a good deep conditioner i was just wondering how long am i suppose to leave this on my hair? and how often can/should this method be used?

  • Hi Kule...sent you an email.

  • I got good results from using the Goya cans. LOL. I believe the coconut creme relaxer is very good. The ingredients do exactly what she said it would do. I think people are expecting a change in their curl pattern.

  • LOL! Well your not complaining Natural but some ppl are and they didn't follow the directions. ;0)

  • first off, your hair is gorgeous! Does this have to grow out from the root of your hair like a relaxer does or do the effects on the entire hair shaft just fade after a while?

  • Hi Kinky...thanks for stopping by....This will effect the hair thats out of your scalp...new growth will benefit from it as it would soften over time if used on a consistant basis. This is just a really good deep conditioner...that makes hair easier to detangle over time.

  • Hi, I was just wondering how long did you leave the mixture in your hair for? or What time amount would you recommend that it be left in for type 4 hair?

This is for my cousin. I'm trying to give her an alternative so she wouldn't be subjected to the creamy crack like me.

2 months perm free, officially transitioning after 13.5 years! Believe it or not I'm 18.5 and loving my spirals and waves!

  • HI aalishante...thanks for stopping by. I sent you an email.

  • i swear.. when u said goya cans.. I damn near bust a lung.. lmao!!!!

  • Hi Kg...I did say Goya Cans...LOL! You be suprised what people are pulling out to make this concoction..then have the nerve to say it doesn't work....lol

  • I am going to try this. Does it help to enlongate your curls?

  • Yes...initally it does...but not permanently. If your hair is really kinky it will make it easier to detangle. If you have soft curls then your hair will lengthen.

  • okay so i tried it last night and my hair feels amazing! i love it i'm goin to do it once a month and i'm sure my hair woul dlove me for it. :)) thanks

  • also the coconut cream concentrate is 100% coconut cream right nothing added because that what i'm goin to use.

  • very nice video you inspire me! i'm going to try it tonight i already got the products lol. can you do a video with miss jessie curly pudding again i want to try that look!

    thanks

  • Great video! appreciate the honesty and I'm glad you mentioned the exact ingrediants because I watched some of the other videos like "wait, that's not what she used" lol

  • how often do u use this

  • Hi mp: Thanks for stopping by. I apply it once a month.

  • I totally agree! I'm tired of people using the wrong products in a cheap effort to get the same results and then saying that the Coconut Creme Relaxer doesn't work! Coconut milk and coconut creme are not the same as Coconut Creme Concentrate folks. Buy the ingredients listed or you did not have a Cocunut Creme Relaxer so you cannot say whether it works or not.

  • lol...i'm so glad you said it...;0)

  • Great video response and thanks for trying it for us. I noticed too that people are using fat free yogurt too. Full fat yogurt probably helps to loosen the curls. It's important to follow the directions and use common sense when doing it. Maybe one day I will try it too.

  • can u still lock your hair if u put this in

  • Hi Breed...I'm really not sure....I guess you can put it in before you lock your hair. However, I'm not sure if you should use this if your hair is already in the 'locking" stage...

  • Great, and informative. Thanks for your objective assessment. - from London UK.

  • how do i know if i have protein in my hair.

  • I'm trying to send you an email, but I can't because you have friend lock enabled on your page. Accept my friend request and I'll send the email.

  • i just watched your video and I was thinking about get a care free curl. remember the care free curls from the 80's. after watching this I might try this. I have virgin hair that is finally growing again and I don't want to mess it up. will this coconut relaxer also help my hairline to grow back. please give me some advice a.s.a.p. thank you very much. your hair looks beautiful.

  • Hi Lucky, thanks for watching my video. I've sent you an email.

  • How often should you use it?

  • Hi Tee, all depends on how dry your hair is. You can do it weekly, bi-weekly, monthy and so on.

  • Can you use this on a twa??

  • Hi Balq, thanks for watching. It's a great deep conditoner so yes you can. ;0)

  • I just found out about this relaxer. Could you please let me know what products I need in order to put the treatment togehter.

  • I have been very very curious about this technique for a while. I don't have super long hair, but it is about shoulder length stretched out. So this is just for detangling? I will have to watch that video again! I can not find the coconut cream concentrate in a store at all. Oh ok, i will go to the website. Thanks! Your hair as always is gorgeous!!

  • I think your hair is pretty long.

  • I tried this yesterday for the first time and it really does work. Try it ladies, I was quite pleased.

  • how much of each ingredient u us , and how long do you leave it on your hair

  • look at all her videos she did almost 5 videos dedicated to the coconut cream

  • Oh my goodness - I have been using this coconut relaxer thing ( and getting really good results) but i've been using coconut milk!!! I will try it again using the proper ingredients! Thanks for posting

  • i can testify that if you use another concoction you will not (probably) get these results - i didnt! LOL

i tried this once in dec08 and ive been meaning to again, thanks for posting and reminding me

  • it works.

  • i cant post a video but im trying it now, it has elongated my hair but i didnt wash it out yet :P

  • How often did you use the relaxer? Once a month? Once a week?

  • When using the coconut cream that she sugested, how many uses can you get out of it before it goes bad?I would like to try this relaxer but i am concerned about buying alot. I dont want it to spoil beore i can use it all. I am one of the women who used the store brand coconut oil and coconut milk and it worked but my concoction turned out way more soupy that i expected.

  • Hi Lum the shelf life of the coconut cream is about 2 years. As far as I know they virgin oil does not expire. Just as long as you keep both items in a cool and dry place.

  • Thanks!!!!!!! I have been wanting some1 to try it and really tell me what is up with it, who actually used her same products. Thanks you 4 sharing your experience :)

  • I have all the ingredients now i just need to try it. This holiday weekend is a perfect time. Thanks for the vid and reminding to try this.

  • does it loosen your curls or relax them a bit?

  • Hi SoFly, thanks for watcing. It loosens your curl so your hair is easier to detangle. However when you initially rinse out the relaxer, shampoo and/or condtion you can't really see the results until you start detangling your hair. I find that my hair has become easier to detangle over time.

  • Thank you for posting an update. I meant to try & totally forgot about it. I am looking for alternative products & needed this. So I will go & get the ingredients, although, I wondered if WF or TJ had the creme. U know, a quality kind. so anyways, can u tell me if u do this monthly or bi-weekly, weekly & so on. I think the fact that the yogurt is so high in protein, which not all hair likes, is balanced by ur full fat choice - the moisture protein balance that's so important.

  • Juja that's true. Not everybodys hair can take all that protein. I'm sure just using the coconut oil and coconut cream concentrate would be just as good.

  • Hi,

I tried the coconut relaxer and liked it also. I did not add as much yogurt as was stated, because in the past my hair seemed not to like yogurt. It makes my curl pattern very tight? My hair loves the coconut, so I will continue to use this treatment once a month.

Thanks for your update it is very encouraging to hear that the constant use has been beneficial

  • where do you get it?

  • Hi Ebony, I sent you an email.

  • I tried it twice since I found your page. It works Wonderful! I did use coconut creme concentrate which is very fatty. I think that is the key. I did it today too:) I am not public but you can see it. My video sucks. It takes a lot of effort to make videos....so mine is a hair blooper video.

  • Thanks Sis for the update...I'm really excited about trying this!

  • thanks for sharing. my hair is getting long and it detangling is a beast. i will have to try this.

  • Thanks for posting this, ive never tried this but always wondered what it was supposed to do. I may have to give it a shot:-) I love your vids.

  • I will definitely have to try this!!! Thank you so much!

  • your hair is looking really nice. so when you buy the coconut cream concentrate, which size do you buy? and how long does it last you?

  • Hi Zion, thanks for watching. I sent you and email.

  • I keep saying I'm going to try it out. I need a deep condition.
