I may be wrong but it sounds like the ist comment implies that non-white students experience this gap because they are unruly. I think unruly students have an impact, but that is not race based where the GAP is. Don't assume it's all on the students. And white kids are just as unruly, but when they do sit still and listen, they are more likely to have educational benefits that others don't.
Want to close the achievement gap, its simple!!! Go to class! Bring your books! Sit down and keep your mouth shut for ONCE!!!! And let the teacher TEACH!!!
Don't be ignorant there are LOTS of factors affecting the achievement gap. Since you preach about learning, educate yourself about the subject before you say things and sound like an idiot.
