  • I use to sit andlisten to this song all the time as a young man. The summer evenings and my radio would have added meaning when this song would come on. it made me proud to be a christian; most importantly, gospel music could be soulful and jazzy with a powerful arrangement. This is definitley classic!

  • I'll be thinking of u!

  • I remember sitting in a car in 1980 and singing this song with a girl who I had a crush on. I never got the girl, but I'll ALWAYS have that moment in time.

  • oh wow love this song! thanks for posting!!

  • Always a family favorite from the LP dayz along with Amy Grant, Edwin Hawkins Singers, The Imperials and Leon Patillo... a great cast for an 80's compilation.

God Bless and enjoy these fine artist also.

  • -- I parents bought this album in wax back in the day. In order to understand how Mr. Crouch was a 'major' player back then, take a look at the liner notes. Many of the most sought after session musicians were on that album. Stevie Wonder made an appearance playin' harmonica. Phillip Bailey sang background vocals on that album-and that's when E W & F was in high demand! Well done sir...

  • Andrae, you may not know me. But your testimony gave me the faith to believe the Lord to bless my life in 1979. Today, I live to worship the Lord privately and publicly. Thank You:)

  • thank you for posting this! the volume is excellent!
