Gator Gar Do get over 5'! We catch them all the time. Most are around 3-4 feet, but a few have reached 7-8 foot...

I like to use live perch, no smaller than half a palm... the bigger the bait the biger the fish!!

Thanks for showing me how to jug. I've been fishing for way too long to just now find a new and fun way to catch big fish. I have now been juggin' quite a bit at dusk and into the night for catfish. It's a blast and can't find a reason to even bring a fishin' pole anymore. The funniest part about juggin' is, you never know what you'll get. It's intense to see a bottle go down...and stay down! The milk jug thing don't work for us. The big gar you just seen us catch are almost impossible to catch on them. They have very weak mouths and the 20 oz bottles work like the drag on a pole. It's also why we let the jug go a few times to wear the fish down.
