my god this is brilliant! like everyone else this reminds me of that 80s era US power/prog style, I love it, its cool that these guys are bringing this sound back! Good luck to them and its great to see another real metal band about!
A fellow Queensryche fan just brought this to the attention of several Rychers. Fantastic! I got chills hearing the unmistakable Queensryche influence in a new band. You have the heavier sound many Rychers are craving to hear in new music! Hopefully, your sound will spread here in the states & you'll get a tour! I'm going now to find where I can buy your CD!
This band really manages to capture that late 80s US power/prog sound. Even their logo and lyrics have that 80s feeling:) hope to see you guys live....
really like this--a lot. i definitely hear fates warning and ryche--but you guys add your own interesting stamp to the sounds and build your own future. nice harmonies in the chorus--i gotta buy this!
These guys used to be a Queensryche cover band in Sweden. The more you listen to the entire CD, the more they sound like Queensryche. They still fucking ROCK though. Queensryche hasn't sounded like this since the late 80's so this band will pick up a bunch of QR fans for sure. \oo/ \oo/
@MalisonRogue sorry man...that's what I get for listening to others without verifying the info. Do you guys have just one guitar player? If so, how do you pull off the 2nd and 3rd guitars live? Are you planning a tour in the US?
@MalisonRogue Hej....Riktigt bra gjort.... Gillar stilen.
Just so long as they don't write any lyrics that aren't extremely right-wing and loony, amirite? If they do you'll stop spamming for them and drive across the ocean in your pick-up truck to gun them down.
@PaleocentriC at least I have principles that do not undermine my country and are 100% American dufus...socialism is a dead and lost system that has NEVER worked anywhere on this planet and has robbed its people of their freedom. \oo/ \oo/
awesome music. like something I would hear on a hair metal radio station. Not the screaming in your face, shocking music that I would expect to hear. Just some good old fashion heavy metal rock n' roll. GREAT music.
I just saw an ad for this band on Facebook, went to their fan page, but found no music or videos. Of course, the next search was YouTube, and this is my first time hearing them. This really takes me back to the late 80's in a very, very good way. I didn't think anyone was still making music like this! :-)
Hear more of a Lizzy Borden influence than Queensryche. Has none of the vibrato that George Lynch has. If there IS a Fates Warning comparison it wouldn't be pre Adler. And Zimmerman's drums in Fates Warning are incomparable, except to maybe Scott Rockenfield from Ryche but there is no hint of either of them in this. I do like it but you guys should let it stand on its own merits instead of comparing it to stuff it has no right to be compared to. Which is funny coz I'm doing just that.
@aaronjhardek There's a little visual lies era Lizzy in there for sure, but you're right. Let it stand on it's own merits. Everyone compares the bands that sound like this to the SAME bands, when there is very little similarity, really. I think it's just easy for marketing purposes. "For fans of..."
This is good stuff indeed. I definitely hear Fates Warning and early Queensryche, and maybe even a hint of Rush, but also some more traditional melodic metal like Dokken. That's not a bad thing in anyway, and there's not a hint of posing here. There are few death/harsh vocals in the background, but they don't detract from the overall quality of the performance. This band could be really interesting to follow.

I get the Ryche vibe listening to this! Good to hear it again considering Ryche doesn't sound like this anymore.

NICE! I wished Queensryche would still sound so good. Nice lyrics, guitar, rhythm, everything us former Rychers have been searching for for a while.

@Gunwacko
Hi Bro ! really glad you like our music, and being compared to the old Queensrÿche freaking rocks.
I would say that Queensrÿche is by far one of my/our favourite bands. (Bring back the 80´s!!!)
however we haven´t been a Ryche coverband, although we have played a cover of "Dont believe in love" live;).
Sorry if we haven´t been on here, but we are writing new material and playing gigs.
You can follow us on Facebook for recent updates.
Take care!

@Gunwacko No problem bro, we actually have just hired an extra guitarplayer, our old friend Mats from Dawn of Silence.
Currently no tour of the US planned, but who knows ? we would sure love to tour the US, it´s up to our recordcompany.
Take care

This makes me think of Iron Maiden for some reason. The vocals kinda sound like Bruce Dickinson in parts.

Promising start. The vocal melodies and the vocals themselves are very reminiscent of Fates Warning, which is a bit of a double-edged sword.
I wish them luck in the future.
