this is caused a visual glitch. it happens when you cope in with the sniper rifle and you target is visible through the scope but the barrel of your weapon is within some scenery. On you screen it will so the bullet fly out an hit your oponent. To everyone else your bullet is simply hitting a wall

Lol it's not a hacker, nor are headshots disabled, the shots just aren't registering. It's commonly referred to as "sponging". It happens ALL the time, too. Not just for snipers, but for every weapon. Most noticeably the BR and the sniper though.

There is an item that you can buy that creates a lag switch literally it cuts your connect from recieving but you can send information: i.e. he can fire but not move from wat you see but wat he is doing is moving and firing it just look like the firing is from the same spot but the lag switch is only good for about 3-5 seconds then they have to move or the game pauses and has that player drop out......

Its not lag/host its because the walls in halo are actually about an inch longer than they seem so if you are shooting someone near a wall the invisible inch of the wall gets the bullet and not the human. So that is why this happens so frequently, Bungie just has crap programmers that know they can half ass and not test and sell millions of copies
