The only problem with this is: you cant call and use your edge or 3g connection at the same time... For the "billing" part you have to be connected to wifi while calling

Verizon's network can't do this. They might have broader coverage, but they're sporting a dying technology: CDMA. This is the main reason the iPhone isn't on Verizon, because it does not support CDMA. With CDMA, you can't do the things he's doing in the video.

Please be informed before you make a comment. Verizon was offered the iPhone before at&t was because they rejected Apple's strict system of control. CDMA has nothing to do with it, if they needed to build a CDMA phone they would have but once again, Verizon did not want to market the product. If CDMA is dying then why is 3G based off of CDMA after all 3G is known as W-CDMA. Soon all our phones will have 2 radio receivers for concurrent LTE data and CDMA calling. ahhh... better coverage

Oh, and by the way, I DO NOT have an iPhone nor AT&T, But instead i have Verizon and a Droid Eris by hTC, and do not suffer from dropped calls (at least so far), and all this nonsense about not being able to surf and talk at the same time, is completely falsified!! If you would like some proof to back it up, i can post it ;-) I have ran AT&T's iPhone and my Droid side by side in a Full Service 3g Area, and the results speak for themselves. Verizon loads pages and dowloads almost 25% faster!

Yeah and the funny part is if you look closely during the commercial, you notice that while he is on hold with whomever, he is surfing the net using a WiFi Connection (Look at the top of the iPhone's screen for the icon) So who is AT&T Trying to kid? I have more than a couple friends with this "awesome" phone who i cannot call on a regular basis, or when i do the call drops. I personally have NOTHING against iPhone or a Mac, BUT FOR THE LOVE OF GOD AND EVERYTHING THATS HOLY, LEAVE AT&T ASAP!!!!

Dropped calls...Ehh I haven't really experienced any dropped calls. There have been a few times where I couldn't receive a signal (but that was understandable in spite of being inconvenient)...Anyways, I don't think AT&T is all that bad as people say...
