  • Gmoch się na szachy przerzucił XD

  • that 3d board...

    gives me nightmares

  • what a move god, brillant play by kasparov, annad played it very good too but the move of kasparov was so amazing unbeatable, no program in the world can make Ac2 nowadays

  • can someone tell me what is the usual time limmit in these kind of games?

  • You americans have the gift to rape and destroy the beautyful things in life...its ridiculous to describe a chess match as if it was some football match....

  • @PinkasBrown44 I would like to mention to you that there is an Englishman doing the commentary also. So would that insult extend to the U.K. as well? Either way, I do agree that this style of commentary is inappropriate.

  • I am sick of this commentary

  • I gotta say. I just loved the commentator!

very enthusiastic. I love chess. It's a tremendous battle and the commentator made me feel there. Watching it.

    regards

    alex

  • Ugh, irritating commentators. :(

  • Id watch telvised chess any day before I watch Poker or Darts. Chess is an infinitely interesting game.

  • Very good commentator he makes chess as popular as football!!!

  • Wow! I think we need this kind of commentary to make chess interesting for the public. The general public can't appreciate the beauty of chess. Perhaps with commentary like this, they will at least feel interested to learn to understand this beautiful game.

  • @maumasukdong I agree, pal.

    Regards.

  • it's the first time I watch chess with a boxing commentator. CRAP comments

  • This commentator eat shit

  • This commentator is shit. This is not soccer dufus. You don't know anything about chess. YOu make me sick

  • The commentary for this is absolutely absurd. It's chess, not football.

  • Yes its chess, but the only way to make it more universally exciting to the masses. Specially the youth. And perhaps getting chess on some widely broadcased cable show is through this type of commentary. Especially the age of PS2, Xbox culured kids.

  • I'm sorry but I have to reply to your comment. I regularly play PS2 and film myself doing so. I love my PS2. I admit I have never seen chess televised, but it looks like a very good watch. I play chess as often as I can, but I rarely find anyone who knows enough beyond how to move pieces. I agree chess is the best game to learn about people. I try make it social, but you can learn a lot about someone without talking and just playing a well thought out game of chess. Nothing beats chess ever!

  • @MendelsonShape

    Bah! Let them!

  • there is no doubt that Gary Kasparov

and Mr. Bean are related they look

    entertaining

  • i can beat anand and kasparov! try me!!! joke!

  • I don't mind the commentary, it was just the fact that the commentators had little to no knowledge of what was actually going on that got me a little agitated.

  • I'm sure that these commentators do, in fact, know what they are talking about! They are IM Maurice Ashley (US) and GM Daniel King (UK). I don't indeed, care for the American's style of commentary . I would prefer to hear Danny King on his own!

  • Maurice Ashley is a GM

  • Yes indeed, but I suspect he was still an IM when this was made!

  • soon after kasparov turned into a dragon and gave him a darker tan!...

  • that poor commentator. He should'

ve realized that too much caffeine makes everything exciting.

  • Not wrong with the commentary. It is very good!!!

  • the commentary is very good!!!

  • the commentary is insufferable

  • hehehe, LOVED the video commentary!!!!

  • chess is realllyy exciting!!

  • nothing wrong with the commentary shut ya'll up amateurs

  • The commentary does sound like shit...don't come on here like you're some big shot chess player..you sound like a chump.

  • Why is this commentary over the top? Nothing they say is incorrect - the commentary is rather accurate. I think that Chess players may be too accustomed to commentators like Yassar Seirawan, who sounds like he's sitting in an armchair with a pipe in hand on 'The BBC's four part series on Elizabethan playwrights'. Now I love Seirawan's stuff, I own two of his books, but this sort of commentary will help make chess more accessible to a broader audience.

  • Snobbing the general public and NOT wanting them to understand the play or to FEEL the excitement will do nothing for Chess.

Do you hate chess? Do you love boredom? Why do you want Chess to come across as boring? Why shouldn't it be exciting and easily accessible?

  • We think differently. Why do you insult me just because my opinion is different?

  • I did not mean to insult you. I am sorry if my post came across a bit too strongly, but I feel quite passionate about the game and about promoting it to others.

The reason why I asked that series of questions is to prompt you to reconsider your own motivations, I'm assuming you don't hate chess or love boredom so why should chess come across as being boring?

  • I'm not trying to put it out as boring, but as a quiet sport rather than the kind of commentary that would be expected to go with a hockey game.

  • I think the game was actually played at World Trade Center ...

  • Yeah the commentary is a bit overboard, pretty stupid actually. But chess is still the greatest game in history.

  • hahahaahahahahahahahaahahahaahahaha

  • I love blow-by-blow commentary in chess! Great video!

  • Hahahaaha. The game must be great but the comments are toooo much for a chess game. The only thing that is missing is people cheering during the game and the chess masters spitting on the floor lol lol lol.
