Well, It's quite hard to say how long it takes to you to play this solo but for me it took couple days but it helps a lot when you can play another kirk hammett solos so it doesn't take so long to get used to Kirk Hammett's playing style. :) Fade to Black's last solo is quite good exercise for alternate picking, it helped me a lot with playing solos. Good luck with playing!

@Alex25587 Well, to be honest i haven't never played particular licks and something like that, i have just practiced solos and stuff like that so it's hard to tell.. The speed came with time and experience, its quite hard to start to practice the speed when played only 1 year but when you play more and more it will come for you :) Just practice practice and practice but start slowly and then increase the speed. :)
