I remember it being something else too, I know it was one of the last tracks on a 99 Oakenfold Essential Mix. I remember owning the record and this being one of the remixes but Gatecrasher remix was not the name. I think there was a couple of represses with this so that may be where the confusion lies.

I have the 2xcd single set of Solar Stone: Seven Cities, released on the Hooj Choons label nine years ago.

This remix is the V-One's Living Cities Remix and NOT the Gatecrasher Mix.

Now, whilst I've never been to the now burnt down Sheffield venue, the chances are it was this mix that was always played at "Crasher" everytime the DJs there decided to play it, and it became an anthem there, but there is no way Gatecrasher themselves did this remix in question, which is around eight minutes long.

Was Gatecrasher the only UK nightclub to actually play this?

The reason I ask is whenever I went out clubbing during the 90s none of the venues I went to even bothered to play ANY Solar Stone material, let alone this terrific remix.
