I think everyone should check out Yellow Bear. It is a new video game coming out this Friday at NachoSoft(.)com and it will change the gaming world. It is going to offer game play for ALL SKILL LEVELS. The game is NEVER ENDING and it is very enjoyable. It is going to be priced very cheap (cheaper than one month of WoW) plus the site has a coupon for like 50% off which will make it dirt cheap. I suggest everyone go and give it a good look because it might be the best 'hidden gem' of 2009.
Sarah Palin's sister-in-law was arrested for burglary in Alaska - and allegedly brought her 4-year-old along for the heist ~ Google it for the full story
OMG It is true! I just looked it up... This family should not be allowed anywhere near the capitol. I am not even sure she should be allowed to be the governor.
No... because of her consistent abuse of power for personal gain. Did you know that Wasilla has become the meth capital of Alaska since Palin became Gov. Wasilla has around 6,000 people. Now she is trying to use it to keep a father from him own son so much for family values. This time the public is watching though so hopefully she won't get away with it.
Wasilla was dubbed the 'meth capital' after Palin had already left as mayor. While she was mayor, however, Wasilla DID become the fastest growing city in Alaska. And all she has done with regard to Levi was not allow him to LIVE with her teenage daughter, which is common sense, she's a teenager. So I'm not sure what she's trying to "get away with" here.
Exactly, which Sarah and Bristol have both said was a lie. This is the same guy who told Tyra Banks that he ALWAYS practiced safe sex/used contraception.
Actually he ended up saying he did not use protection every time.. just almost every time. I see no reason to decide who is lying and who is telling the truth... Even if Levi is a huge liar it makes no difference... In America fathers are not denied joint custody and unsupervised visitation based on weather or not they are honest 100% of the time. It is wrong for the Palins to act as though they get to make all the decisions regarding the baby when he is the father. I feel sorry for the baby.
Except HOW many times did Tyra have to ask him to get him to admit that? He's also said that he can go over there WHENEVER he wants to see his son. The guy now says that he'd like to get some acting or modeling jobs out of this... I don't know how you could defend him. He's not THAT bad a kid, but he's the one that made a poor decision... People want to focus on Sarah Palin in all of this because of how famous she is, but really, the Governor is the one at the center of this.
If I told my ex husband he could come over to my house and see his kids whenever he wanted to but he could not leave my house.. that would go over like a turd in a punchbowl. He was asked if he would be open to acting or modeling should that happen.. and he said sure. I do not know any 18 yr old who wouldn't be. You are right he made a bad choice but so did Bristol... so what gives her more rights than Levi?
That withheld evidence was the work of the Bush administration. Does that seem odd, to you? I think it was done on purpose to exonerate Sen. Stevens. He will run again and claim a breach of justice. Sen. Stevens is gearing for the next campaign. He will be quiet for now. He will be on the hunt, using excuses, and Gov. Palin will be a big supporter. It is all about lies and control.
There are a lot of career Democrats in the Justice Dept. Why would Bush or his people hold back evidence that would exonerate a Republican Senator in a tight race? They wouldn't...no, this looks like Democratic dirty deeds here. Otherwise it doesn't make sense.
sennapods, if conviction is being overturned for any reson, be it drunk judge, procedural violations, the person at the trial is innocent. I don't like it perhaps, but this move makes Stevens innocent.
And since he lost reelection, no longer in senate and he's 80 something I will not cry over him not going to prison, evry politician after some years in washington is corrupt I belive
Never supported Bush. Knew he was from oil and had only power in mind. Not the best interest in the country. It was a long hard eight years and notice how all the flags disappeared when they started talking about Iraq? But they rushed it and nobody stopped them. I will never forget or let them soft ball the worst president in our history. THE WORST!
I am a liberal and have called Bush the worst but now that Obama is in there, well.... I am not too happy. Obama is taxing cigarettes which mostly working class people buy. Plus he isn't lifting the embargo on Cuba plus he only hires incompetent people, plus he wastes money on useless projects like Bush. I am not too happy with Obama.
I think that there may be more to the embargo of Cuba than meets the eye. I suspect that the US Gov has a strong indication that Cuba/ Castro was involved in the JFK assasination...not a smoking gun necessarily, but circumstantial ties. Oswald had ties to Cuba and New Orleans...Mobster Trafficante had ties to Cuba and New Orleans and Hated JFK...Castro Hated JFK...the Mafia hated both John and Bobby and apparently talked about taking JFK out at some level...lots of little ties.
are you joking? it has nothing to do with any of that- the fact is that Cuba is independant and wont' let the US economically rape it. that's all. the US doesn't like the fact that they are communist and tries to demonize them. how dumb would Cuba be to kill a sitting US president? imagine what the reaction would be if they were caught? certainly not worth the risk nor would it make any sense.
The CIA had tried to whack Castro several times...so he had a motive. Like I said, I don't have proof...but there is a chance that Castro was involved. Presidents of all stripes have continued the embargo for nearly half a century....I suspect there are reasons that we don't know about.
The conviction is being overturned for procedural violations. That doesn't mean Stevens is innocent of the crime, only that the prosecution tainted the trial by breaking the rules. There was enough evidence for a jury to agree that he was guilty of the charges.
I have family & friends in Washington, & when Ted Stevens was arrested NO ONE was suprised. This guy was the most corrupt politician in Washington for a LONG time. What he was arrested on was literally nothing compared to what he got away with
How the hell does Matthews get all the way to "the charges should never have been brought?" Stevens has not been declared innocent by any stretch - the charges have been dropped because of prosecutorial misconduct. That in no way invalidates the original charges - it is instead an acknowledgment of how badly the Bush DOJ prosecutors mishandled the case and have so tainted it that there is no way now to proceed. Perhaps unConvicTed should send some of those gifts he never used to Monica Goodling.
It's enough that Stevens is out of the Senate. If there's any 'hidden motives' to be ascribed to this administration, I'd prefer to believe Holder wants to be known as running an ethical AND legal Justice Department. Who knows, it may catch on.
The prosecutors didn't mess up. They did their job successfully, they prosecuted a guilty person, got a conviction, and he was sentenced under the law.
Obama's justice department is freeing him. I wonder why? Perhaps it's just because Stevens was a long time power-player and his friends are coming to bail him out.
What bullshit, that criminal Ted Stevens should spend the rest of his life in jail. There was NO mistake.
Repeated instances of withholding exculpatory evidence isn't a mistake? FBI investigators accepting gifts from witnesses isn't a mistake? And the list is a lot longer than that. The prosecutors failed to do their jobs, and this is the result.
What? Ted Stevens is GUILTY AS CHARGED. He was legally found GUILTY by a jury of his peers according to the law.
Now you whores want to spring him on a technicality, because his rich thieving cronies are PAYING you to.
We need to investigate Ted Steven's lawyers, see which judging they are politically supporting, and prosecute them for corruption if there is evidence of criminality, which there seems to be a prima facie case for already.
He's probably guilty, but i never thought he should go to jail. The crimes he commited weren't that big a deal, and he lost re-election. He's also too old, so I think in it's own way, this has worked out well. But that's just my opinion.

It is not that Sen. Stevens is innocent. It is the
prosecution withholding evidence that prompted
the judge to drop the charges. Sen. Stevens was
not falsely charged. He will, however, make the
claim of innocence.

Reportedly, the info that was held back by Justice exonerated him.

Democrats are actually conservatives (with a bit of reactionaries for spice) while Republicans are batshit insane reactionary to fascists.

Why is it that Bush's Justice Dept. prosecuted ONLY Republicans for political corruption even though several democrats were caught red handed?
Yes, most of those republicans got what they deserved - Stevens obviously didn't - but so did William Jefferson, D-LA and others.
