Growing Well was nominated for and won the regional and then national Best Rural Enterprise award in 2011. The competition was organised by the Countryside Alliance. Growing Well, its founders, volunteers, staff, members, and trustees got UK wide recognition for their work: a great achievement.
Growing Well are happy to be associated with the Countryside Alliance,an organisation formed specifically to campaign against the hunting laws. The juxtaposition between caring for and supporting those with mental health problems and supporting the inhumane practice of setting dogs upon our wildlife for medieval style entertainment, is baffling!
