Brilliant!. I fuckin loved this. Ville was obviously having a blast, the crowd were enjoying it and he nailed it. He may have been slightly intoxicated however his performance was excellent. His charisma, charm and sheer talent is obvious for all to see.

Second: 1 of the great charms is that he just reaches the notes, close but not completely. Third: why still talk about him being drunk or not? From someone who knows Ville and knows Type O Negative...Ville is a huge TON fan. He loves them. Type O Negative members have actually attended HIM shows and they find it complimentary that these musicians would pay tribute to them. This is a live version of this song and truth be told, HIM has covered TON songs in the past. I personally think a studio version of would be awesome. As for the person who said 69eyes and TON were clones, must not be a fan of either band.
let's get serious here...the vocals were not good, and it's alright to admit it even if you're a HIM fan. (I'm a Type O fan and I say they suck all the time.) Valo has a good voice, but not here. the music was good for a cover, but I prefer the darker sound of the original.
2.) No one is good ALL the time. Valo has talent but this video does nothing to prove that. However I do think that if HIM did a studio recording of this song and weren't caught in the rush of performing live that it would sound kinda cool. I always enjoy hearing Type O covers, but I think it'd be difficult to top Peter Steele's vocals.

So people stop judging Valo on HIMs Razorblade Romance album. And open your eyes and ears to this cover and other HIM albums and take note over his vocal capabilites. He's one of the best out there definately.

perhaps it's just me, but i pretty much consider it a crime for someone who can sing like ville to end up sounding like this! if this were the new HIM single, i'd be traumatized. i haven't listened to the full type 0 negative version, but it seemed to make more sense.
