i've never been a fan of this type of painting but seeing the work of Peter here has made me change my mind. you can really get some smashing effects that draw you in and bring life into the painting. i like it very much!!

Peter is great ! but I wish in this video he explained more than just saying how happy he is with his finished painting... hope the new video is better :)
Talking of banging things in... I bang my head against a wall. I just can't get my head around seeing a painting in my mind's eye from a photograph. How do you decide what to leave in and how 'sketchy' you want the picture to be? I end up with a poor photographic copy!
