  • I love barbed wire makes me warm inside and sentimental

  • This is my favorite show I've got all the seasons and episodes

  • lol klink at hitler

  • Wiedersehen, folks!

  • after ww2, foster went on to become an army chaplain and ended up at the 4077th in korea.

  • @wallofvideo He was in Gomer Pyle's platoon too. I wouldn't be surprised if I heard he was serving in Afganistan. He really gets around.

  • The Best Scene EVER! :D

    Klink meet Hitler! XD

  • How many women did Bob Crane sleep with?

  • @andmaketherain

From what I've read, it was quite a few! And he reportedly would take photo souvenirs of many of 'em and even later video tape them. Quite the womanizer it would seem...too bad his sleeping around finally caught up with him, resulting in his gory murder. Bad business, all the way 'round....

  • Mein Führer, I can walk...

  • HAHAH I love it it's soo amazing! And on top is that Larry Hovis is realy looking like him!! HAHAH! LOve all of them they are realy good actors!

  • @LovelyDarkPearl

I second that emotion! This is my all time favorite episode! And it really is uncanny how much the late great Larry Hovis looked like that nutty Nazi, Adolf Hitler.

  • What a hilarious show! Though I always hate laugh tracks. The show was so good it didn't need any!

  • everything I do is a surprise, even to me!

  • i love da show

  • @sparky370737

And I'm sure the show loves ya back...if it could talk! :-)

  • Larry Hovis was an awesome actor, I always looked foreward to him pretending to be a Nazi and he was just the best Hitler look alike. May he rest in peace, a great actor.

  • @omontono Dude! It's comedy. Nobody really thinks the Nazis were this stupid. It's supposed to stretch the boundaries of believability to the point of being ludicrous. That's where the humor comes in.

  • @Bandaids4ever I was surprised to find this series in German: Käfig Völler Helden. Having everyone's speaking German is as unrealistic as having everyone speak English. A rough translation is "Cage Full of Heroes".

  • @BuddyNovinski To find it in German means it must have a German fanbase. So not all Germans are as devoid of humor as mr Omontono here. Haha! Good to know. :P

  • LAWL it's Father Mulcahy.

  • Haha best show ever!!! I've literally seen this episode like 50+ times. I'm dead serious lol.

  • 5:34 So Classic!

  • I freakin long hogan's heroes. I watch it everyday so much you can tell me the title and I can tell you in detail what happened. Wish it was still on tv.

  • I was on the Hogan's set when this segment was shot. Ivan Dixon told me that Larry was playing Hitler for laughs but wanted his craziness to spill out at the same time. I think he pulled it off because I watched Robert Clary, LeBeau, and John Banner, Sgt. Schultz, walk over after one of the takes and hug Larry. John Banner almost crushed him and planted a big kiss on his cheek, too. Larry wore the Hitler uniform home and freaked out the kid from the grocery store whom was making a delivery.

  • @bbqtom1400 what character where you

  • At 2:56 he introduced him as Adolf Shickelgruber - Hitler's real name.

  • I loved this show and I still find it hard to believe it ever made it on TV.

  • very good impersonation!! Looks so much like hitler!

  • XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD ROFL ROFL ROFL ROFL.... *sigh* This never gets old....

  • парень выглядит как гитлер

  • In the reality the black dude - Ivan Dixon - would've been sent to a concentration camp as slave labor...... that is if the nazis just didn't send him directly to be gassed.

  • Completely spotless performance. Larry hovis was the best actor on that show portraying an american.( the best actor was john banner)

  • Really, that was an amazing performance by Larry Hovis. All kidding aside, it was uncanny, right down to the insane glint in his eye. Thanks for posting.

  • NO MORE BARAGGE BALOONS!

  • Prob.; The Most Classic Scene in This Series ? Gotta Love Klink's Expression ! Haaaaaah ! <:

  • 5:35 totally priceless

  • Did anyone notice that Carter's hair is parted the wrong way? Of course, Hitler only spoke only German, but he didn't know anything outside of German/Austrian culture.

  • far and away my favorite Hogan's Heroes moment!!!

  • "Is this the Comondant?"

    "Yavol, mein furher."

"We will win the war anyway!"

  • @AlleyKitty13 cant help myself... ja wohl XD

  • nearly fool me lol

  • ROFLMFAO "Auf Wiedersehen Folks"

  • This is the greatest show ever produced. Unfortunately, the politically correct bastards will always be unclear on the concept, and as a result we will not be able to enjoy the show like we used to in the 70's.

  • Facts: Robert Clarey that played LeBeau in Hogans Heros was in WWII and was a Jewish person, he had a serial number on his left arm written on him with a pin by a Gestapo colonal and that is the reason he had long sleeve jumpers on at all time and Werner Klemplerer a.k.a Colonal Klink and Leon Askin a.k.a General Burkhalter were all Jews Germans that flead to England at the start of WWII, the show was originally going to take place in a Consentration camp but because of that they changed it

  • @KylesLiberals The show was NEVER going to take place is a concentration camp. It was originally going to take place in an original prison. That didn't sell so with the popularity of The Great Escape they changed it to a POW camp. The rest of your information is mostly correct: Werner, Leon, and John Banner all escaped Nazi Germany. Robert Clary however did not escape and was in the concentration camps.

  • I should also add that while John Banner & Leon Askin escaped the Nazis they lost their parents in the death camps. Before Leon got out he was also interrogatedby the Gestapo. So these men all knew very well what the Nazis were about.

  • @Kinoakim Yes it was going to take place in a prison but the tought of people helping possilbe murders escape wasnt going to to be great publicity and actually Albert Ruddy had thought of a Consentration camp as it would seem good that people were helping them escape but Bernard Gein the Co-Creator turned it down they then went on to the Prison then to a POW camp from which we got this great show

  • @KylesLiberals If you don't mind my asking what is your source for this. I've never heard it before?

  • @Kinoakim Three books I have read the first was the book by Robert Clarey "From Holocaust to Hogan's Heroes", which I high recommand it is great, second which really gets to the heart of most thing like this is the Brenda Scott Royce novel "Hogan's Heroes - A Comprehensive Reference" this is rather good but in some places you may need to think before you read on and another Brenda Scott Royce book "Behind the scenes at Stalag 13" good but much simler to the other book

  • @KylesLiberals I've actually read those books (within the last year actually) and there is absolutely nothing about Hogan's Heroes originally taking place in a Concentration Camp. Perhaps you misread a line somewhere?

  • @Kinoakim Okay I do not want to start an arguement but if you read them again there is hints in each and piece them together and you will uncover it and I dont want to spoil the comments on here lets just watch and ejoy this absoluty wonderful show

  • anyone else notice the crickets during winter lol I wish

  • " 'wiedersehen folks" at the end...lol

  • lol

    On aura tout vu !

  • @Erwin0859 Tu m'étonnes...

  • which season and episode is that ?

  • @stefano93hessen "Will The Real Adolf Please Stand Up?" is the episode name.

  • @stefano93hessen season 2 "Will The Real Adolf Hitler Please Stand Up?" (disc 2)

  • 666 people like his impression.

  • 23 people didn't like Carter's Hitler impression.

  • "No more barrage balloons" ..... ROTFLMAO

  • Both Carter and Father Mulcahey were members of Gomer Pyles' platoon, although I don't think at the same time. So Carter had to take orders from a different Sgt. Carter.

  • "Love your stalag. Very nice barbwire. I love barbwire...it makes me feel all warm, and sentimental inside..."

    bhahahahahaha I love this show!!

  • on second thought i will see the furher some other time

  • i love this video. carter make a good hitler

  • @gaaramyloverable

I second that emotion! The late great Larry Hovis is AMAZING! His shining moment on this show, which is my FAVORITE episode ever!!! :-)

  • "How do you do sir? I've heard a lot about you."

This was the single funniest scene in the show's 6 year run!

  • This episode was hilarious!

I think you can watch this one on hulu, but it may be gone now :(

  • "I thought I ordered, no more barrage balloons!"

    I loved this show.

  • 9:22 Keen Kyle seen kyle? Has anybody seen kyle?

  • The part is on the other side.

  • Christopher Williams makes a good German

  • Its much better with the german dubbing!

    But also very good!

  • wow ...............

  • Good

  • @WhatiSLeet Yes, that was William Christopher. I guess he defected and got religion!

  • Ein des Besten des Hogan's Heroes.

  • Quite Speach: Hail Hitler!

  • @ 1:22

...oh yeah...and there's the whole Jew thing too.

  • Sergeant Carter. Absolutely timeless!! Bar-none, my all time favorite television program. They just don't make 'em like this any more. (Newkirk was even able to smoke on screen without hurting anybody's fragile fucking sensibilities & getting CBS sued by some meatball anti-smoking group somewhere because he taught 7 million children to smoke cigarettes.)

  • @Autocad1965 yup times are unfortunately chaning

  • William Christopher (MASH) as a German.

  • ; A typical evening at Rich Lott's house.

    Cheers!

  • @12Zwolf LOL!!

  • , Or, at Max Mosley's house.

    Cheers!

  • Brothaa in season 6 when Carter again imitates hitler is waaaay funnier

  • you have to watch this in german dubbing.

  • Major Hauptmann ??? Major Captain lol

  • at 4:55 The Nazi in the middle is Father Mulcahy of MASH.

  • @DarthSideous63 Not Nazi...Germany Army. NAZI is a political party

  • @trentcreek My mistake he's a phony Nazi.

  • @DarthSideous63 German Army NOT EQUAL to NAZI. Nazi is short for NAtionalsoZIalistische Deutsche Arbeiterpartei, a politcal party of Germany from 1919-1945, That would be saying General Norman Schwarzkopf was a Republican just because Bush Sr. was the President/Commander in Cheif during Operation Desert Storm.

  • @DarthSideous63 In at least one episode, he substituted for Larry Hovis as Carter, kind of keeping in the background so it wasn't too obvious the sergeant was being played by another actor.

The actor who played Col. Grey in "Gomer Pyle, USMC" (can't think of his name right offhand) also made an appearance at least twice, playing both a German and a POW masquerading as a German ("Jawohl, Herr Oberst. Ich spreche und verstehe Deutsch.")

  • @DarthSideous63 Yes William Christopher.

  • @DarthSideous63 he was also Private Hummel in Gomer Pyle, USMC

  • @DarthSideous63 Two VERY! Different Roles He Played lol

  • @DarthSideous63 William Christopher, a Methodist who played a Catholic priest!

  • @DarthSideous63 He was in at least two episodes of Hogan's Heroes if I remember correctly.

  • Hail myself!

  • One day the goose will hang high by his heels!!

  • How do you have good audio and video for this clip?

  • @bzzymatt DVD or DVR

  • "We will win the war ANYWAY!"

  • the Germans before Adolf Hitler were virtual slaves of the jews who owned 85% of the Berlin banks. Einstein even said that the jews went way too far in Germany. Americans ever since 1913 have suffered the same fate where the entire monetary system is controlled by the jews who are only 3.5% of the population. Hitler had total comprehension of jewish criminality and educated the Germans that every new generation would remain enslaved unless action was taken against worldwide jewish supremacy.

  • @StevvieStayingGold Thank you for the information.

  • I remember this episode ends with Hogan regaining his confidence that he has got his touch back.

  • Carter/Hitler: I hated seargents then and I HATE SEARGENTS NOW!

    Schultz: THANK YOU MEIN FURHER!!!

    LOL

  • I love Hogan's Heroes. I SEE NOTHING!

  • the thing ill always remember from this show is when major hochstetter saying Who is this man

    haha

  • @M0N00D "VAS ISS ZIS MAN DOING HERE?" Howard Caine was outstanding!

  • FAGGOT IN DISGUISE this guy is just looking for a few good homos to add to his friend list

    V

  • Oh geez, I remember this episode when I was a kid! When Hovis said he wanted General Burckhalter shot, did Leon Askin do a bugout!

  • GO CARTER!! XD

  • Rent Hogan's Heroes on DVD......no commericals and it is uncut.

  • Carter is a genius!!!

But from which episode is this part taken? Name and number please, thx.

    Proud greatings

  • @FatThoG The episode is "Will the Real Adolf Please Stand Up?": season 2, episode 12.

  • lol...i love barbed wire..makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside LOL

  • I watched every episode of this show many times in the late 60's and early 70's like many others I guess. As a kid I knew this wasn't very real, but I still thought it had some basis of reality to WW II. I've had a computer for about 3 years and I've spent a lot of time looking up many WW II vids and stories including the Geheime Staatspolizei. While this show is an entertaining comedy, the reality is VERY different.

  • "Scramble-brains"? "Mr Nutty"? I love these Hitler nicknames!

BTW, I wonder if Hitler's normal voice sounded any different from that abrasive voice he used for his speeches. If if was, it probably wasn't as nearly much fun to imitate.

  • Whatever happened to the episode in which Hogan gets caught and is tortured mercilessly by the Gestapo until he reveals that he's a spy? Then he gets hung by piano wire from a meat hook.

Yeah, I can see how WWII was really funny.

  • 4:37 what is Fr.Mulchahy doing in Nazi Germany,lol.

  • that's great, better than the original

  • Oh my gosh. That's father mokayhee (I know I can't spell it)

  • Oh WOW,.....'member watchin' this at my Sitter's home, along with other great sitcoms of the 60s,...thumbs up to ya chiraag87 and thankin' ya for the AWESOME share! = )

  • @qualqui Hey friend sorry but i never watched this show at all but it looks like men's movie anyway Hahaha :D

  • @purespirit9 hmm.....a man's movie,...lol...well, at least it made ya laugh, ya know sitcoms job is that,...hehe! ; )

  • @qualqui of course! I say a man's movie coz there was only men in that movie lol, oh and er kidding! Com'on i never seened the movie okay, now smile :)

  • @purespirit9 I'm all smiles :)

  • @qualqui good now give me a peace sign LOL

  • Hee! Father Mulcahy!

  • @StormsongK yeah mon, from WWII with Hogan to the Korean War with MASH! = )

  • great Series greets from germany

  • justin.tv/hogans_heroes

  • I have this on dvd. i love it so much

  • 4:28 my favorite part

  • this is my fav scene in this show!!

  • "Notice at 4:30 it's winter, yet you can hear crickets lol!"

  • Isn't Major Hauptman of the Fuhrer's Staff the same actor who played Father Mulcahey on M.A.S.H.?

  • @gmartinz01 yup thats him

  • One night I was looking at the list of "famous prisoners" names from the Buchenwald kz. The name Robert Clary, who plays corporal Lebeau in this series is on it.

  • @clintonearlwalker

Sometime ago Robert Clary decided to roll up his sleeve and to start to talk about his wartime experiences. I'm glad he did.

  • @nagmashdriver Thanx for the info, I didn't know this. I watched every episode of Heros when I was a kid. I've spent much time examining the Nazi camps online. What happened in the camps was very different than Hogans Heros. I must say I was surprised when I found out that Robert Clary was in both Buchenwald, and Hogans Heros.

  • You're most welcome. I'm sure you must know that Werner Klemperer was also a Jewish refugee from Germany, circa 1935. Germany's losses were our gain. Lots of good stuff on the web about Hogan's Heroes, behind the scenes, etc.

Lots of good movies, too: Auto Focus, Stalag 17, The Great Escape, et al. Wish I had the net when I was a kid, but better late than never.

  • @nagmashdriver I had no idea Werner Klemperer was a Jewish refugee. I've never heard of Auto Focus, I've seen Stalag 17, and The Great Escape. I seen on TV that Bob Crane had some of the first and best VHS equipment when it came out in the 1960's. He used if for porn. I don't think his murder has ever been solved. The FBI said a few years ago they are pretty sure who did it. I've had the net about 2 years. Luv YouTube. Do u know about utorrent?

  • @nagmashdriver John Banner (Schultz) and the guy who played Major Hochstetter of the Gestapo were also Jewish Refugees of the same time period as Klemperer.

  • @TVRM610 Yes, indeed. There is an excellent website that details this interesting facet of an already interesting show: "Hogans Jews".

  • wich season and episode is this?

  • Let's not for get one thing...

    What's that?

    he's a great actor.

    HAHAHA f'in hilarious!

  • Hogan's Heroes forever....if not the best sitcom ever to rule the airwaves!!!!

  • I'm 14 and this show is my favorite.

EVERYTHING I DO IS A SUPRISE EVEN TO ME

  • I was a corporal once! I HATED SERGEANTS ZEN! I HATE SERGEANTS NOW!

EVERYZING I DO IS A SURPRISE! EVEN TO ME!

  • I remember watching this episode years with my grandfather. My favorite sceen ever.

  • This is themost hilarious one I had ever seen in my life. 5/5

  • whitch season and episode is this?

  • BUT WHO WAS PHONE?

  • are the actors british playing americans? or....what? I've never seen this before.. an American show or British?

  • some are american, some are british. but it's an American show.

  • It's an American comedy but the English character is played by a British actor.

  • this show is awsome

  • omg i love this hahahahahaha

  • "We will win the war anyway!"

That line still cracks me up.

  • Look at the french dudes salute. Is that because his jewish?

  • i love your barbed wire it makes me feel very warm inside

  • "everything i do is a surprise...EVAN TO ME!!

  • Holy crap! I love Hogan's Heroes!

  • "i hated sergeants then and i hate sergeants now!"

    "danka my fuhrer"

  • Watch TVShows like Hogan's Heroes - Carter imitating Hitler at W W W . TV-Vide . NET

  • As to the question of Sgt. Carters height compared to Adolf Hitler, most historical facts list Hitler as 5'9" and being of average height. IMDB website has Larry Hovis who played Carter at 5'10" being comparable.

  • "...Very nice barbed wire..."--LOL.

  • @DiGiTaLdAzEDM I know. Funny, underrated show. Larry Hovis was brilliant as Hitler.

  • I love this show because no matter what age you are its good and it's truely timeless, also RIP bob crane

  • Ive loved this show forever! and im only 29!

  • @exodia1510 21 here man it's one of my favorites lol
