That said, there are plenty more violent villians walking our streets,whose crimes in brutality and malice outweigh anything that Mr Biggs and his fellow train robbers did that night in 1963. The real reason for the 30 year sentences was not the violent act against Mr Mills, but the nicking of £2.5m in cash.
