When there's remakes of a game, everyone forgets about the original and eventualy you're one of the last people to remember. I remember. Thank you Nintendo.
@porygonlover322 Well, it's because most gamers nowadays lack the patience, and think that you can just rush through any game. That's why many of the older games (Dragon Quest 1, Mother, etc.) are labeled as "difficult."
@MastermewtwoALPHA Well, so far I've only played the DoS version. I'm actually right now running my emulator for the unreleased American version. Wish me luck!
@porygonlover322 Good luck! Oh, and if you're gonna do that, I'd highly recommend watching HCBailly's LP of the fan translation of the original version for reference, if you haven't seen it. I'm sure that'll help greatly.

It's really sad to see younger kids miss out on such historic games and music scores but all they want is a game that they can just kill, that's why most gamers nowadays say games like this suck. they can't seem to understand that this is where the best shit is at. But they seem to think that people like us are losers and that we shouldn't even play today's games. I say FUCK YOU to those loser gamers who say old games suck.
@ultris07 Yes. Quite sad. If I ever have kids, I'm gonna raise them on games like this. Games where the developers actually put time and effort into making them. Not games that are basically rehashes of previous versions with additional features (I'm looking at YOU, Call of Duty).

I mean, I'd pick games like EarthBound, Kingdom Hearts, and Okami over Call of Duty or Medal of Honor.

As for Earthbound & Okami never played MOH was an extremely good game(Brothers in arms road to hill 30 was also good, PS2 but still extremely good) and I don't really like COD. I've played FFIV(4) and found it to be very odd in the end. It's like it predicts that some evil deed will again be committed. I wonder though what the Finished Xenogears would be like. FFVII isn't...
