The game is awesome. The sequel less so but it does have a lot more to build, and the expansion pack made it just as awesome. I'd love to see B&W remade with modern graphics though.
@xdwere1 On Land Four? There are two totems behind the village. You must get your Creature to lift one totem at the same time as you lift the other. It will not work if your Creature lifts his totem later, or before, you lift yours. They must both be raised to their full height at once.
Lift one totem and hold it up until your Creature lifts the second to the same height. Make sure your Creature knows how to use the Village Totem before doing this. Doing this will get you where the Creed is.
My first and only question is the parents in the bigging are purely nordic...and the kid is black, I'm just wondering if that lady has anything to say to her husband? :)
Very good game, unfortunately Mr. Molyneux is not always truthful, honest chap, and game has many flaws, extension and sequel only multiplies the problems!
More money for development, more time for working and It could be the next Diablo(2), or even next Doom if you know what I mean!

I have Windows XP Professional and I tried this game. It worked fine for the first scene until everything became pixelated and very glitchy, and letters appeared as green squares. I tried going on Properties and Compatibility and did Run this program in compatibility for WIndows 95 and 2000, but now when I try to play it, it doesn't even work, and goes back to the desktop.
@grande1899 I know that since you still have XP you probably do know some about computers.. Probably more than me cuz I'm a kid.. But if you want my advice make sure your video card and RAM is compatible.. Just go to google and type in (Can you run it?) and select Black & White, and then just let it do its thing, and It will tell you whats wrong.. Its a pretty cool little site!

its firebal . it's a miracle with which you can trow a bal of fire at something( your enemie) it will set everything that is flammable on fire when it passes close.
i love this game but it keeps crashing-cant get past level 3 where your creature gets frozen- how do you stop the wollves from getting the second village?
