I'm just trying to figure out how to find an item that helps travel faster. When I level up I see no great imporvement. I had a glitch on the Gem for the Arch Mage and it I had to go past my Relics and Shrines Quests! Now I have to run all over again. Any advise? Thanks. This was fun. :) Songs

No, in Skyrim you have to visit a location before you can fast travel to it. And you start out with no map markers, so you have to do leg work first.

Bethesda has said that you will not have fast travel locations when you start Skyrim. You will have to find the locations physically before being able to 'warp' across the map, cities and towns included.

No mods, and I didn't use the console either. My speed and athletics are just maxed out (both at 100). Keep in mind though that this video is time-lapsed, which is why it's so fast.

No there is a day night cycle, I just had to disable it so you could see the world through the whole run. Visibility is crap during the night, as you would expect.

Cyrodiil is such a pretty place! Sometimes, I go riding from city to city just for the heck of it. The road from Skingraad to Anvil is the best, in my opinion. :)

@LeeLee94TV From city to city it takes about 10+ minutes unless you pick up ingredients or visit places otherwise. If you however, travel around the entire realm of Cyrodill, you'll spend quite some time.

@morrowind2500 join the arena to get a lot of gold, go into lots of caves + ruins (sell the loot) Dont' buy a house, instead I like to use what I call "safe houses". Pretty much, in the dark brotherhood when I kill someone and no one lives in their house an more, i store things there (like when you have that dude in chorrel leave town, you get his house for keeps) I also use abandoned shacks as safe houses. Sell potions you make. If you like exploiting glitches, then duplicate soul gems. +sell

@dakpb If you've got the Add-On "Shivering Islands", than go to Dementia (?) and to Sheogoraths Town (forgot the name). An Ork will ask you, if you can scare off a kahjiit. After completing the quest, he will give you skinned dog, it's the only pet I remember.

Graphics have no matter in my opinion of the game. I'm still playing Morrowind to the day and it's still awesome. Both game have their ups and downs though.

this is true. Morrowind is a larger game with more to do, more weapons, more land mass, and more cultural diversity in it's design.

Olbivion on the other hand is more streamlined, easier to learn and play, more detailed, and Cyrodils denizens have more life sewn into them.

It's difficult to compare them fairly, even though they are both part of the same series.

Graphics don't make a game. Gameplay does. You're very narrow-minded. Anyway, Morrowind's graphics can be made really good with a few easy-to-install mods. Oblivion is a smaller game with less weapons, armour, and less cities.

Also one thing about fast travel, being a vampire it's like your worst enemy. My brother asked why I never used it, and I did to show him and wound up almost dying since I wound up in Anvil nearly dead. XD

Plus, fast travel takes the novelty out of the elder scrolls games..

after u join the black hand in the dark brotherhood quest u get an amazing horse call shadowmere which is the fastest and strongest horse in the game, also if the get too heavy u can knock out shadowmere and place items in his inventory

Shadowmere is faster, being a black horse.

Unicorn comes from the white horse family, making it just a tad slower, the Unicorn's attack is far more impressive than any other horse though.

@gogeta33 Downfall to Unicorn tho, u cannot fight around it or bring out ur weapon. That makes you level less quickly. Plus, u will eventually hafta kill it for a Deadra Quest xD

both at 100. I was still to slow to do it in one (game) day though. I had to use the console to slow down the flow of time so I was never in the dark..
