Peter Overton was out of line with the question, 'Was Nicole the love of your life'? Who would ask that to anyone who is divorced? Also, he had a weird smirk on his face when he was asking these questions. Tom was absolutely right to tell him that he needed to 'put his manners back in'. Great TV though :)

I seriously do not understand what the big deal is - he wasn't comfortable answering personal questions about his ex-wife, the mother of his children. So what? They moved on and Tom answered everything else that was asked. Tom's an amazingly talented person and everybody should just leave him alone.

I don't think Scientology has anything to do with him being how he is. It think it's all the years of acting, and learning to play with life and emotions, and feelings. He knows what reporters are after and like a lot of actors, you have to know how to keep your composure and wait for the right time to release. The real actor is in a different state from everyday life people.
