  • Back in the early 60's I saw Conway do this song in concert. Then years later after Hello Darling was a monster hit I had the pleasure of seeing him perform again. Opening song, " Only Make Believe" about a minute and a half into the song, on the break, Pork Chop, Conway's drummer, hit the down beat. The Mr Twitty said " Hello Darlin' " The people went wild. Smooth, oh so smooth. That was Conway Twitty. Name came from Conway Ak and Twitty Texas. Harold Jenkins, you are missed.

  • @irishheart1999 Nothing to be ashamed of!! This was the greatest of times for America with few exceptions, civil rights and Vietnam. I loved growing up in the 60's. These oldie hits were great and I love Doo Wop. Wish there was a time machine I could go back and relive 1960-1966.
