  • You mentioned data, Max-V did a test in 08 using .015", .025", .035" .045" .060" and a few more. their data showed the 3 small gaps being very close and the faster, but this is before Rail Riding(TM) and not using any form of tuning at all. you never really know till you test if you have a track. E-mail me, I will give you a link.

  • Double check that again.  We just pulled samples from the last 2 years and all were .033" to .034". If yours if oversized we will gladly replace it for you.

    .022" is tight, to tight in our book.

  • My tool guage thickness measures a .049 spacing.

    I tried several spacing gaps. I run a derby clinic for a month and helped build over 20 cars.

    Our car that won at the district races last year ran a .022 gap.

    I'd love to see data on gapping speed differences.

  • This is a very usefull tool, but I like thinner wheel spacing.

    I would buy it if you don't have it.
