it was a remake of the 1967 film

in the oringal 1999 version of this film yongary died but later made another release in 2000 and changed the film having the alien monster cykor in it and having yongary live. i prefer the 2000 edited version which is the only one releashed in america. the 1999 version is impossible to find almost but you can try on ebay but you'll have to import it from korea. -_-

As for Yonggary, that's his name in South Korea. When the film was brought over to America, they changed the title and the name of the monster. I'm talking about the remake, not the original.
