Maxing out my Defi boost gauge on my E85 powered Evo

E85 is 105 octane. You can up the boost much higher than 93 octane Gasoline without knock. No need for a tuning map to run E85, but not doing so, will waste the huge benefit of E85. A lean code is nothing more than your computer saying you are not Poluting enough, not that your actual fuel is lean. 12:1 A/F plus timing is a good tune for most N/A apps.

Nice! What is your boost at? I have a 07 STi, im at 20psi but sometimes it spikes to 23psi is that going to hurt anythng?

Depends on your tune/gas and if you're knocking or not. I'm not that familiar with what safe levels of boost are for subbies.

ya man how much hp are you making. I have 400whp on 93 and was thinking about goin to e85 as well but i want to know how much hp i will lose. Haven't had the chance to talk to a tuner about it yet

I got 380whp on very minimal mods. You should gain HP and LOTS of torque. E85 should produce similar results as 110 leaded gas...

thats fucking crazy man what kind of turbo and front mount setup do you have? how much hp you making?

if you're running E85 i'm guessing you did a remap and some big ass injectors?
