@jstew2424 ....i dont even know what else to say except your dumb! lol look at ever major league swing even a pitcher they all move forward through the ball. the only thing i see wrong with the swing is he cuts it off to soon, stay through the zone longer (lengthen your swing)
peso adelante... por eso pareciera que te fueras a caer cuando terminas el swing... practica el peso atras porque cuando te lancen una curva o un slider te vas a ver mal...
Or if he actually produces movement in an effective manner, he will maximize his power. Since you know so much would you mind explaining how to produce movement effectively?
This is happening because your weight is too far forward, causing your hands to drop, and then you lead with your back elbow, because you try to speed up your swing everytime you drop your hands. Its just a bad habit. Take good 50% swings for a while and you'll break it.
my bad, I just happened to come across this video again, and I realized what I meant to say when I said your right elbow needs to be a little bit more away from your body, is that your leading with your back elbow. At contact point, your right elbow is near your belly button, when really it should be basically attached to the side of your body.

a good way to tell a good width, is put your bat on the ground and put a foot at each end of the bat. Shorten up just a little bit and that's about how wide you should be. I'd say about 30 inches, maybe a little less. So just think a little less then bat length.
@noahmcdx at contact point in the first slow motion one, your right elbow needs to be a little bit more away from your body. Your elbow to hand line should have a 90 degree angle to the bat's knob. Get a little wider of a stance, and have an even stance, or even a little bit closed, not open. Open stances allow your body to let the bat lag, dropping of the hands, and that's probably the reason your hands outside your elbow at contact point. Even up your stance.

It looks like he lunges foreward after his stride. thats what loses your power. if he stays back all the way, he will get a lot more power

@tamiller231 You should have your shoulders and head lined up with your back knee. Not behind it, not infront of it
