  • oakley are useless!! bought a radar rubber rotted in two months..coating peeled off...the first and last oakley for me .worst than chinese knock off

  • what would be best lenses for baseball for night time play under the lights?

  • @strongyang all of the iridium lenses act as an concealor for your eyes

  • You can customize the earsocks by buying additional colors at your local oakley store

  • are you a bmx dude

  • Does the black iridium(livestrong) acts as a concealer, bcuz I don't want people to be staring down my eyes, or someone noticing me looking at some hot chicks ;)

  • @strongyang I think the only really view-blocking lens color is fire iridium.

  • I bought a livestrong pair for $155

  • @OhSoPro4 yes you can customize glasses in the Oakley store. But usually they don't change the earsocks and not every store has all of the frames that they have online. Hope this helps!!

  • im a nooooob wen it comes to this stuff but,

can you customize glasses in the store and walk out with them?

Like frame color and style, lens, ear socks.

    Anybody let me know! thanks

  • are you sure thats blue iridium and not ice iridium?

  • Ear Sacks! LOL

  • Do you bike?

  • Nice High School Musical DVD in the background...

  • Hey guys watch my unboxing of the radar path!

  • Damnit Man! I was so excited about getting myself some radars with the H.I. persimmon lens because a blublocker is my favorite lens, but on your video the lens looks SO light. Bummer. I wish oakley made one. With a pair of blublockers you can look right at the sun and it doesn't hurt (not that I do that very often) but they also don't darken everything. I don't want amber or vr28 or 50. I want blublockers on a radar frame with oakley quality.

  • Good review. Got a quick question. Are the benefits of Polarised vs Non-Polarised that worth getting if they are to be used under normal circumstances.

  • I just got the Oakley Radar Paths. I am wondering if you can put in a Radar Range Lenses in the Radar Path Frame

  • @TH3unbox3rs The Radar frame is all just the Radar frame. One frame. Three different lens shapes. Any Radar lens will fit the Radar frame.

  • what were the first pair of oakley's u were wearing and then u took them off. what where they?

  • what are the sunglassses that you were wearing at the beggiining

  • I've always worn Oakleys.

Over the last month or so I've been tryin to find some online site that sellls knock-off sunglasses After much research, I went with verycoolsunglasses. com

My friends don't know they're fake!

  • i just ordered my custom radars. i got the White chrome frame. Black earsock. Red icon. and positive red iridium lens. Im getin them for 110$ cause my mom gets some discount from her job hahaha. nice review bro.

  • Homosexual!!!

  • do all the lenses flip up like that

  • Awesome flip up of the lens weeeee!!!

  • do you have to sign a paper if your ground order a custom pair?

  • ok, when you ground order a pair of customs, do you have to be there and sign to get them or will they just leave it on your doorstep??

  • dude what is up with you and that gay song that u had on in the beginning. i mean i enjoy watching your videos and i'm not tryin to be a douche

  • what kind of lenses do you perfer??? grey or black iridium??

  • Wow the pink pair looks like a fake

I'm gonna assume they are real cause I think u know what ur talkin about I've just never seen them before without the holes in the stems and with them being straight

Anyway I have a pair of radars that I play baseball in and they are amazing

  • @alexattack0 it is because they're the radars for women.. the ones designed for men have the holes/different stem.. bigger nose piece aah yea

  • why would you pay like $200 for a pink pair of glasses if you dont ever wear them?

  • do you notice a big difference between polarized and nonpolarized? also how does the ice iridium lense compare to the black iridium as far as the quality of the tint? and as an overall lense?

  • @kmoneyXC The difference is minor. Ice and Black Iridium are identical neutral tints and similar light transmission.

  • @whatthedillyo13 what where the sunglasses u were wearing in the very beginning of the video

  • @jdogp27 Thump

  • hey what type were the glasses that u were wearing at the beginning with the flip up lenses pLz REPLY

  • hey man i got the livestrong one and they like creek is that suppost to happen cause like when you twist the ear things up and down they creek and is that right?

  • Does anybody have a problem with them giving you a headache because they look like they might be tight

  • @claykfx450r Yeah, get the Asian fit if that's a problem, as they are not as tight. Asian fit comes with a thicker nosepiece but new ones are $15.

  • i like the pink ones

  • hey, what do u think would look bettter the polished black frames or crystal black frames(theyre kindof see through) and you can see some of the inside components, i trust ur opinion man, thanks 4 the vids too.

  • did any of your radars come with more than one lense or did you buy them seperately? thanks

  • how much for the last one the aluminum ones

  • Man, I wish I could spend as much as you on Oakleys haha. Just bought a pair of Radar Range for golf and shooting. Got the G30's, G26's and Black Iridium lenses. Hopefully if I like these and the way they fit, I'll buy a customized pair in the future. Just wanted to be able to return them if they didn't work.

  • im liking the highschool musical dvd in the back ahah love the glasses though :)

  • could you do a review on M-Frames? they say the m frames r for sports and what not. an unboxing and review would be great!

  • How scratch resistant (or cheaply replaceable) are the lenses? I'm wondering if these can double as shooting glasses without getting fuxored in the process. Nice review.

  • Cant decide on Radars, Jaw bones for bikin or some Oil rigs or gas cans for posing. I still use my M frames for bikin and just got my Frogskins from the loft as there are cool again.

  • R the gascans nice

  • What is the difference between Iridium and normal Oakley lenses?

  • it sounds like u said ear saks

  • Im just wonderin why there is music playn in the beggining, middle, and end in ur vids.

  • Great information! Thx!

  • Great information, thanks for taking the time to do this video. Looking to buy myself a pair of Oakleys. All I've ever used is cheapo Walmart/Target crap. My Foster Grants from Walmart snapped in half randomly while I was in Mexico and now I'm in the market for some Oakleys.

  • i cant decide between the livestrong flak jackets, or the livestrong radars for running and some cycling. help?

  • what are you wearing?!

  • why dont you get polarized lenses

  • high school muscial lool

  • Mframe

  • I used them for baseball there better than frame

  • are radars used pretty much only for racing?

  • The blue iridium are the lenses that I want but on Oakley Custom you can't select them any more, It's pretty lame...

  • lmfao, "these look way hotter on a dude"

  • Hey dud, I just bought the radars with the photochromatic lenses. I love them. Thanks for showing me how to get the lense out. Get any new pairs lately?

  • In my opinion, I think you should get a Radar Range. You have a thinner and longer face than others, and Range's cover the peripherals better and come farther down the face. Theyre not MUCH bigger though. IMO, I think those would fit u better. But thats just my view. Nice shades though. Like those Blue and Yellow lenses.

  • High School Musical DVD on the background xD

Like your video, I have the orange Radar from Cancellara myself

    Keep it up

  • Hi,

I here the paint is know for peeling on the aluminum and white chrome frames, i really like the white chrome but im a bit put off by hearing this, any thoughts?

  • why didnt you get polarized lenses

  • hey i was wondering why didnt you get any of your Oakleys polarized

  • Hi there, you make a wonderful introductory video.

I just wonder if any pair that you have in this video is Asian Fit?

Do you have any experience between those two kind of fit? I just got a lovely Scalpel Ducati but I don't really know what kind of fit it is, it touches my cheek and move when I smile (I'm Asian).

  • all radars no matter what should come with the hard case.

  • hey, nice radars. i have those sick blue iridium lenses too. but i wanted to know what kind of oakleys did u have on in the beginning of this vid? and are those the only oakeys that have flipup lenses?

  • @FemaleOkoleBangahz: That is either the Thump Pro, or a pair of Flak Jackets with the MP3 added on..

  • what kind of lenses does your custom radars have? Pitch, Path, Range?

  • All of my Radar lenses are Path.

  • alright thanks, Im set to get a set right soon. Just wondering one last thing though, do all Radar glasses come with that hard case or is that something you gotta get seperate?

  • Does anyone know what model number and lensses @ 208

  • 3:05 FAG lol

  • LoL

  • @whatthedillyo13 you do however seemed to have propped up high school musical in the background as if you wanted ppl to see it..........

  • @whatthedillyo13 Why you laugh at that lol

  • I'm currently using an asian fit true carbon radar fitted with the slate iridium path lens for cycling as well as for casual wear. Your video has really given me a good idea on how to remove the lens so I can get a spare lens of a different shade. Thanks!

  • what is that disco song called that you play??

  • Double Dutch Bus by Frankie Smith

  • high school musical

  • lens quality, design and fit is very nice! just bought mine several months ago i use it for cycling road racing, i noticed one day when im cleaning the lens there is some scratches already,

is there any other way to make it a little bit more scratch resistant?

  • Maybe there were some rough particles on the surface of the lens before you wiped it. As far as I know, Oakley lenses do not scratch very easily if cleaned properly with the provided microfiber bag that came with the shades. Do not apply too much pressure while wiping the lenses.

  • Thank you very much. Great video and good explanations. Now I know how to uninstall lenses :]

  • Whoa the Radars look really good on you! Btw can radars support mp3 functionality?

  • Can you do a video with the polished aluminum ones? Im thinking about those with the positive red iridium lenses or black and silver jawbones with fire red iridium and another lense i havent chosen yet.

  • on the radar sunglasses, how do you replace the ear socks?

  • You'll have to squeeze and yank them hard off the arms.

  • ok thanx

  • Hey man. I know you're a MTB racer, just curious as to what your thoughts are on Lance's victory in Leadville. I'm a huge Lance fan.

  • Can you make a video where you wear your custom polished aluminum/blue iridium radars? I want to see how well the blue iridium lenses block out your eyes. I hate when you can see my eyes through sunglasses.

  • i got the same radars except black Iriduim lenses and black ear stocks

  • i have the same pair as the livestrong, except they are all black

  • what would you say the niche is for the jawbones

  • I so badly want those livestrong Radars...

  • no dis here but are you gay? just askin

  • No dis taken.

  • what song is that

  • Double Dutch Bus by Frankie Smith

  • High School Musical.... U gotta be Shitting Me! LOL Nice glasses though!

  • Just got the limited edition (1500 produced worldwide) Radar Path antifreeze w/ jade iridium lenses. They are very sleek but not sure if I wanna wear them regularly or just leave them in its soft vault for a few months and see what the going rate for them on ebay is. Otherwise cool & informative vid and thanks for posting.

  • Yes. Those are NICE Glasses. Keep them and wear the heck out of them.

Ear socks and lenses can be replaced if you ever wanted to sell them down the road.

  • Now that you mention that, I think I will wear the heck outta them. Once again, nice vid.

  • Got any Oakleys you want to sell?

  • hmmmm

  • So I'm definitely into mtn biking and just started up not too long ago and was wondering if there is any advantage towards having the lens contrast or neutral. I'm leaning towards the polarized radar path's with the Red Iridium lens.

    Any suggestions? Thanks!

  • Polarized would be awesome. My favorite overall lens for racing has been the Blue Iriduim VR50 (i think they are VR50).

Night riding is Clear all they way.

Go vented if you can too.

  • GIVE ME A HO IF YOU GOT YOUR FUNKY BUS PASS, HO, HAY, HO, I also am digging your headband, gus chiggins, you are the man, or better yet, little boy

  • Great video! Very informative!

I was at the store today to try on the radars and absolutely love the fit. I need to get a pair since I'm a beach volleyball player and have some tournies coming up. Do you have any opinions on what lens's "style" are better for volleyball, assuming I'm looking upwards most of the time. There is pitch, path, and range. All slightly different I'm just not sure which one is best for my application. Thanks! :D

PS you def have your own sense of style in your vids! haha

  • Kudos on your speaking skills. Seriously, it's so nice to hear someone on YouTube who doesn't stumble on their words/demonstration and can organize their thoughts logically.

  • Hey great video. Make one on those glasses with the mp3 player

  • hmmm... Maybe. Don't think you can even get that pair of Thumps anymore though.

  • dude i dont know why ur not all that famous. i love your videos!!!

  • Whoop'! First viewer on a vid for the first time. Your Oakley review vids are pretty cool. Keep them coming!
