  • Just what I need!!! Another thing to try and become obsessed with. What a delightful artist you are!

  • oh my,, Milliande, if you only knew how you inspire me!! A wonderful page, thanks!

  • Love it ...a boo boo....becomes art!

  • Some of those ink drops weren't intentional, right? It's pretty awesome that you went with it and made the mistake... well, not a mistake, but part of your piece. :) I often find myself not knowing what I should do with something that I unintentionally did when it looks too out of place to keep as-is, and end up scrapping what I was working on.

  • Also wanted to say that I wish I could do that! It's just beautiful!

  • Very well done! That looks awsome!

  • YOU AWESOME!

  • Dear Millande,

I have been watching your beautiful works of art for months now - you are such an inspiration! Could you kindly let me know the type of media and brand you use to write and draw in white? Is it acrylic ink?

    Thank you so much!

  • So lovely. I could watch you all day!

  • So encouraging that you make this videos and show how accidents can lead to happy and amazing discoveries. You are by far the most inspirational art journaler I have found on youtube. Thank you for all you do.

  • Enjoyed it. Thank you:)

  • Awesome and so inspiring! I want to get out my art journal! Love watching you work. Thank you so much for sharing your world!

  • Amazingly beautiful! You make it look effortless, like all talented people. I think I could actually give this a try. I love the color palette. Thank You.

  • Love your work and how you incorporate the accidents into the piece. You inspire such artistic freedom of expression! :)

  • So beautiful and what a relaxing start to the day?.......I would love to try this but have no idea of what materials to buy. Would it be possible for you to mention what type of pens and nibs you used and also the make of ink, please? I have to buy all my supplies online so any info to help me order the right things would be greatly appreciated.....thanks for sharing your wonderful talent, it is very much appreciated. Bea :-}

  • Очень нравится! Это - медитация!

  • You are amazing! You lift my spirits just watching you

  • My work is a mirror of me. Having been a dancer it will always be a part of my self expression. I enjoy watching you work. I am elated that my own work has compelled a response. We are all worthy of this life God has given us. How we feel about ourselves is part of self expression. How we feel about others should be loving and kind. I am glad that you are drawing again. I hope people find nourishment in your offerings. They are good.

  • My body is my vessel. It is part of my self expression.

  • I love your work!

  • Milliande, I am a longtime fan but this is just an outstanding example of how you demonstrate helpful techniques, approaches, processes, incorporation of drips and accidents, and the personal details that replace any 'precious' focus on perfection. This is really special, thank you!

  • Welcome back! Missed you terribly! How is Maya?

  • I *love* how you use the accidental drips to create lovely little surprise additions to the work! I probably would have freaked out if I had dropped a big wad of paint on my picture! But in your case, you just work with it, and make something even better! :-) Awesome!!

  • Beautiful, Millilande! It's so nice to see you again. I love the "mistakes" turning into focal points.

  • This is wonderful. I love to watch you work. What kind of paper is in that journal?

  • @GidgetTrish just regular sketchbook paper... not watercolor or anything, just a medium grade cartridge paper ..( its by Windsor and Newton ) :-)

  • @Milliande Thanks so much. I was wondering because your paper doesn't seem to buckle when wet.

  • @GidgetTrish I find that using a heatgun to dry the paper ...and doing it from both sides eg drying the back equally as the front on the wet layers helps to keep it straight :-)

  • @Milliande Thanks again. I'll try that. I hope it works for gluing things as well.

  • i just love your videos :) so inspriring :') <3

  • You are amazing. I envy your sketchbook powers :)
