I dont know much about making machinma videos, but the Pinnacle studio software I use would be considered a "post production" editor, and cant be used to actualy render CGI for machinma purposes.

Also, another question. With your Pinnacle Moviebox, can you record from the TV, or do you record from your laptop?

The moviebox, like any capture device, allows you to record from virtually any analog source, so I have it set up to record straight from the 360 itself. The standard A/V cable that comes with the 360 has both component and composite output cables, so I can record off the composite outputs while I play off the component outputs going into the TV.

How do you get downed? I played co-op with a friend on Insane last night, but he just got flat out killed. >_>

On which part? There are some things in Insane that are instant death (gibbed, or chunked as my sister likes to call it), but most things still down you first and give you or the AI a chance to revive you.

No, we were at the hospital, my friend got shot 4 or 5 times and died. There was no chance to revive him. >_>

Sometimes if you are separated the game will down you permanently instead of giving you a chance to be revived, such as the parts where Dom dies during 5:40-6:20. The rest of the time, unless the attack blows you into chunks, you get a chance to be revived, even on Insane.

The cost of the package I got was mainly for the video editing suite, not the capture device. I wanted to use an editing suite more powerful than windows movie maker.
