in the character selection mode,when u choose sb,up-right on their icon you will notice one or more of the following ones: 1)ultimate jutsu type 2)adversity type 3)item type 4)tension type 5)release type 6)taunt type Which means that if u want to go on Awakened mode you have to 1)succesfully active an ultimate jutsu 2)take certain amount of damage 3)use certain amount of items 4)make a certain number of attacks 5)release chakra instead of an ultimate jutsu 6)use a taunt

@Roco2032 rock lee has up-right the word ''taunt'' so he is in number 6 category,so you have to perform a taunt in order to go on 8 inner gates mode,in this mode you are faster and stronger,you have some new moves but you lose life over time as long as you are on that mode...

the way me and my friends play we dont use assist. are battles are insame. like literally not even bragging. heres hoping they do another like this where there is no assist with update on characters and more indepth gameplay. just dont ruin it. but i can only dream...

Looking at the video, I was pretty sure that Gaara had a pretty favorable handicap, and going back to the start of the video confirmed that. The guy playing as Lee is the better player for sure, although he messed up in a couple places.
