So what is the difference between that and just applying direct heat? I feel like this is just a fancy version of the same thing...does the heat from a moxa stick work better or something..?
@Icedout24xx The mugwort herb has a long history in TCM. The compounds in the leaves react in a unique way with the body when burned. It increases blood flow and leaves lasting heat. We've tried replacing moxa with other heat sources for the sake of convenience but it isn't the same. Proper moxa application produces a long-lasting effect.
