  • Great, two forms of art in the same pair of trousers, most enjoyable, thankyou.

  • Thanks for watching.

  • Masterpiece!

  • Art for Arts sake..Loved it Ken..more Pre-Raphaelite myself but would hardly siut the minimalist theme...Great stuff as usual. I like how you are pushihng the boundaries of the uke for us all

  • Thanks for that. I appreciate it.

  • Wow, shivers down my spine, hairs on my neck standing up, the works! :-) Am freezing now! Love it! Another excellent minimalist piece :-) I love your experiments! That artwork is fab! Do you like Dali? :-) X

  • I used to like Dali, but not so much any more.

  • it's like a uke cross between modrian and philip glass. Very cool!

  • Thank you.

  • I love your experiments, Ken.

  • Thanks Mary-Anne. I did this one much too quickly, but I was short of time. Both the video and audio are a bit messy. I may redo this it: re-record track 2 and tidy up the verticals in the video.

  • It works for me with the exception of "Broadway Boogie Woogie," a longtime favorite that always makes me think of the music and history that inspired it. Still, nicely done.

  • Thanks.

  • nice job Ken

  • Thank you.

  • Thank you, Ken! I enjoyed that very much. I would have liked to also watch you play the uke between each piece of art. Do you know "Pictures at an Exhibition" by Mussorgsky? This came to my mind when I watched your video. What a great idea to describe pieces of art with Ukulele music!

  • At the moment I'm just experimenting - improvising with a general idea in mind. I'll try and do one that is filmed as well as soon as I can.

  • Great! I love your minimalistic experiments.

  • Thank you. More to come.

  • Fine. I'm looking forward to hearing it. Thank you.

  • That was great Ken! A very interesting way to showcase the artwork. Very enjoyable!

  • Thanks Michelle.

  • another 5* preformance, you are so easy on the ears

  • Thank you.

  • Your best one yet I think. The use of zoom went really well with your music. When Broadway Boogie Woogie and a few others were not square to the video frame did not sit comfortably with the zeitgeist though. But I really appreciated the syncopated movements. One of my Favourites. Thank you Ken.

  • I know about it being square. It is really still experimental. I had very little time to put it together - about an hour from start to finish, music and video.

I have done a different (and better one) which I will put up later today. The new one took a little longer, but it is better. It's called "Malevich".

  • i love these minimalistic pieces of your's. i'm not really an art buff of any kind but i enjoyed the video! 5*

  • A new 3 part piece coming soon.

  • Very soothing, actually. Also loved all the neo-plasticism/bauhaus stuff.

  • Thank you Tony. Always an interesting comment.

  • excellent use of pan and zoom

  • Thanks.

  • The images work great with the song. Really liking this minimalism on uke idea of yours!

  • Another one coming soon.

  • There is something special with Ukulele!

  • Thanks.

  • I like it - ver suggestive. I have always enjoyed Mondrians work. And yours even more.

  • Thank you R. Mondrian's one of the greats. I may do Malevich next.

  • Miró is cool too.

  • I will bear him in mind. Good idea.

  • This is great Ken! Mondrian never ceases to fascinate me. Its like looking down at NYC from the top of The Empire State Building.

    Love your tunes!!

  • Interesting comment. I've always loved Mondrian's work.

  • Really good, completely surprised me.

  • Excellent. Thanks.

  • Very cool. Infinitely so.

  • Thank you very much.

  • I'd say it is another successful experiment. 5 *****

  • It seems to fit reasonably well with the artwork. I may re-do the right channel.

  • Very cool Ken. Your playing really complimented the artwork.

  • Thanks, Deach. I am a bit unhappy with the overdubbed (right channel) improv. I may re-do it.

  • Thanks Ken, All that is missing is the voice over explaning each of the paintings and the Artists approach to each.

    Well done

  • Thanks very much.

  • What a great piece... Love it.

  • Thanks very much.

  • I have never seen Piet Mondrian before, thank you for sharing this. The music compliments the images so well.

  • Thanks very much.
