1. Download and install Winamp.

2. run it once.

3. Run winamp now.

4. go to the "Ray's G15 winamp plugin"

hold both CTRL keys + the 4th smallest LCD button.

5. Scroll all the way down and make both "yes"

6. Now play some music!! :D

Ok. I have the old G15. So I extract it, it pops up. I hold both ctrl keys down while I press the 4th soft button. I scroll down to not see both of the VULED options.  I can only get the m1-m3 keys to light up. Any reason why they arent showing up?

Matter of fact, I checked it out, and YES, YES you can do it with the G15, I'll put a video about it tonight, just go to mylcd[dot]sourceforge[dot]net and download WVS2 and when you open winamp, press Ctrl+P, go to the visualization properties, select WVS, click start, then you're good to go.

hmh. i can't get it working. when i extract the file to my winamp plugins folder, and start winamp. nothing unusual happens. and when i press and hold ctrl and first button from right. nothing happens.

Thanks for the tutorial. Worked great ! Might help to explain the the Ctr keys are both held down "while" the Backlight VU LED settings are turned on. On first try i just held the Ctr keys down then opened the menu but it didn't work. They have to be held the whole time while changing the settings.
