lol thanks man i was so tempted to get a twin turbo but to be in the safe side i have a non turbo. i just want it to be trouble free so far so good i will post videos soon once i get it all detailed i have 2000 spec
@Raymond4539 Twin turbos are a headache even the non turbo can be troublesome alone. 90's 300zx really need a dedicated owner and its really a bad first car. Ive had two twin turbos before. My first one timing belt stretched out and messed up my pistons n valves pretty good. I just replaced the motor intstead and sold. Got my 2nd 300zx rolling shell,build it from the way up. But i sold it and got myself a reliable 350z. Will get another 300zx TT in the future when more money comes in.
@specvtypepnoy oh man really? uhuhu i hope mine will not fall apart. this is why i picked a jap to be reliable and non turbo. if this is th ecase i will not keep th ecar for long. what if i go with a s3 z31 widebody? are they more reliable than z32 non turbo? i really like zeds i just sold my lemon car. I'm not planning to go on the same road again. european cars is so pathetic when it comes to reliability.. for some reason the 350z is a nice car but i really did not like the shape of it
@Raymond4539 It all comes down to what the previous owner really did or lets just say how he took care of it. Like when I first bought my first z32 that previous owner said he replaced the timing belt. 30k miles later my timing belt took a toll. So pretty much he lied to me. I would recommend changing as much as you can like thermostat,timing belt, drain all fluids out and replace them.
@Raymond4539 I will also do the 100k service if you have the money. Also go call your nearest Nissan dealer. The older style PTU ( power transistor unit) are bad replaced them with the new style for free. It was a recall for 90s 300zx. Call them and tell them if your PTU has a recall and just give them your name and your vin number for your vehicle. BTW im not telling you not to keep the car. Keep it.! Your part of owner of a legendary Z. Until your extremely broke then have no choice. Sell it.
@specvtypepnoy i called local nissan here but they said they will not honour the recall as the car is an import. just to be safe i will get the 100k service and replace the timing belt .thanks for your advice man i really appreciate it. the resell value of the zed is really good just in case if i go broke and sell it i can stil sell it at a descent price. how much and often is the service interval 5k 10k or 20? 6 or 12 months the manual i have is all in japanese

I have never heard of a nissand ealer rejecting a recall just because its an import. Well duh it is a import car whats wrong with them unless your not in the US maybe thats the case. You can download the US manuals..ill have to find it.

I just noticed that the t top is leaking a bit i left it outside all night was raining quite heavy the next day ithe left hand pasenger side is wet :( I will be joining projectz32 thanks. I was checking some side skirts and rear wing for spares man they are not cheap.

Its a local forum website,but we have people all over the world that joins. Its one of the best and nicest people compare to nicoclub or other 300zx forums. If you have any problems ask any of those extremely knowledgeable people.
