Absolute perfection ---can't get better than this!! The beauty is that Rafisaab had a natural and effortless style. The modulations are so natural, as the voice is making a major contribution to the character on screen. Simply brilliant !!! One more for the soul from the great master Rafi Dada !!

Dear Nickkohri,Let me introduce as member of BAAR BAAR RAFI Bengaluru. We have some unreleased collection of ghazals written by Rafi saab himself and he was the best on Harmonium in creating raags. I was very lucky to meet and stay with Ravi for 2 days in Bengaluru two months bk. They were legends and credit for the songs sung by Rafi shall definitely go to Ravi also..  Ravi saab was in full praise of Rafi saab and they were great combinations.

~ This song here is one of the many from early sixties that reminds us that the period belonged to Ravi! Shakeel (in this case) and Sahir and Rajinder Kishan and a few more, wrote beautifully for him and Rafi and Asha (Mahendra Kapoor, Mukesh and Lata in some instances) sang their hearts out...

~ Kya zamaana tha, kya gane the! I am glad I was old enough to enjoy them then and am young enough to remember them today!
